A CALL TO CHRISTIAN VOTERS

This is only to Christians. . those of you who want every aspect of your life to be filtered through His heart. If that's not you, then you can stop reading this now.

I have see many Christian's making their presidential choice with the same process as those who don't think God has anything to do with it. This simply ought not be. It's very troubling.

Our economy seems to be the main filter people are using, regardless of their faith.

Those who don't hold Christ as their "#1" are excused for making their selection with the seeing of the eye, the hearing of debates, watching polls, news media, opinions of political analysts and their own intelligence.

They ask questions and then rally around the person who checks all their "boxes".

They ask ...

Is he "electable"?

Can he beat Barack Obama?

Will he be able to make a difference in a way that I think is needed?

Does he have the money to go the distance in the campaign?

Will he be good for our nation's position in the world?

Does he answer questions the way I think they should be answered?

Does he sound clever?

But we who have genuinely made Jesus Christ our LORD,

we who stand firmly in our belief that the Bible is the Word of God

and believe that the phrase written therein about Jesus, "the government shall be on His shoulders" ...WE MUST ask different questions and use a different filter.

Our vote sends a message to God and to the world about the condition of heart and soul.

WE should be asking:

Will he steer our nation even farther from God... or closer?

Has he expressed concern about the spiritual condition of our nation?

Does he downplay his own relationship with God?

Is he going to protect the foundation of America as a Christian nation?

Do I see a history of his public life as a demonstration of his faith in Jesus Christ?

Will our selection send a message to God that we are most concerned with His priorities ...or our purse?

Will our choice send the message to the world that we count more on the wisdom of God and expect His hand on our nation or that we believe our great hope in human intellectualism?

I am convinced that God prepares a very qualified person, equips him with His heart and then offers that person to us, HIS PEOPLE.

I believe it is His desire that we choose the one He offers us and He watches to see if we will.

It is tragic that we never connected those dots in the last election and allowed human reasoning to cloud our judgement.

It is tragic that we seem headed in the same direction again.

I beg you to stop it.

I beg you to look at the soul of the man you want to be the next president. What will he do for the soul of this nation?

If you truly do this, I think we'll arrive at the same conclusion together.

Only one candidate has taken a stand in the spirit by calling the nation to pray because he saw the troubled nation and understands her first need is to return to God.

Only one of them made it poignantly clear that it DOES matter what the president believes.

Only one of them has declared that he will fight for our religious freedom and oppose those who believe that means freedom from religion.

He also happens to have a the most experience in running a government successfully and doing all of the financial things people need done, like balancing the budget and creating an environment where businesses brings jobs. He's handled natural disasters, international troubles and his state has added 40% of the nations new jobs since 2009. He's done such a good job at leading that has been re-elected 4 times. That's what I call "electability".

It is high time that Christians stop this secular nonsense and send the message to God and to the world that we recognize the man who is after HIS heart and believe that God will bless us if we'll send him to the White House.

It's in our hands. I believe it's more important than ever. What are your real priorities?

You know who I'm referring to. Don't you? Of course you do.

It's Rick Perry. I pray he continues on and gives the other 48 states an opportunity to catch on and have their say.

And I pray that we stand for him loudly, as I intend to.

Just one little after thought: Keep in mind that we are unlikely to agree with 100% of what any of them say and they are unlikely to achieve 100% of the promises they make.

Great leaders do not always make eloquent speeches.)

I have the privilege of facilitating meetings where the sole agenda is to quiet our minds and focus on listening with our soul and spirit to see what the Holy Spirit would have to say.

We've called them soaking meetings, a name that was dubbed from Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship and Catch the Fire Ministries through John and Carol Arnott.

There are so many life transforming intimate encounters with the living God during these meetings that I've lost count. We always take time to talk about what we've experienced at the end of the meeting. Occasionally it's good to write about the stories people report.

Here a few from last week, at Zion Road Healing Rooms.

One dear lady was intending to only stay for a short time, burdened by her to-do list. I told her she would probably want to stay until the very end and she took my advice. She was glad she had done so. She had a wonderful vision of the Lord taking her into a beautiful field. In fact, several of us had similar visions.

Another young woman came for the first time. She was set free of rejection and reported later that the heavy weight presence of Holy Spirit loving her was with her all through the night and still there in the morning. She'd left her job with great sorrow and concern about her future when she came in. She left happy, encouraged, hopeful and feeling assured of God's love.

There were wonderful stories from each one.

The meetings are increasing in frequency and intensity. I'll try to figure out how to make a calendar soon.

Right now prophecies

We can look at the Old Testement prophets all day and try to interpret the current events through them but God has promised that He will do nothing in the Earth without first telling His prophets. So, with that in mind, I fished out Kim Clement, who I believe has a pretty clean hearing ear and prophetic voice.

This is what He had to say about the latest tornado outbreaks: "These are truly signs, but not of God's judgement or punishment or the coming end of the earth. They are signs of acceleration." He promised to elaborate on that and on God's heart concerning American on May 26, 2011 at 6 PST on KimClement.tv

As for me, I had a vision on May 19 (last week)
In the vision, I walked into a room where Jesus was alone.
He welcomed me and asked me if I'd like to see what He was working on.
I said "Yes" and leaned over with Him to look at the project He was hovering over.
It was America!
Then He sat up so I could see His eyes. They were filled with the shape of America, ablaze.
He said "I need the right prayers now." Though He was calm in His statement, I understood it as an urgent call.
"Not prayers for a governmental solution. Prayers for hearts of the people to turn fully to me."

It was as though America's heart is not on fire for Him, but is like smoldering coals. He is stirring up a wind over their hearts so they will become ablaze for Him. In order to complete this, He's asking for prayers that call for hearts to turn fully to Him.

The fewer words I write, the more likely you'll remember and simply respond.

There you have it.
It's time to pray for American hearts to turn FULLY to the Lord.
It's important.

To the suffering, the overwhelmed, discouraged ones of the Bride of Christ

I went to church Sunday morning with a lot on my mind.

Myself being unemployed for over a year, there is a constant battle against the discouragement of the new world order of applying for jobs on the internet which are sought by my competitors from anywhere in the world, wondering if this time I hit the right keywords in yet another customized resume and cover letter. It's a roller coaster ride. I just came out of another wave of mental torment.

I was thinking of so many like me, in similar troubles and more severe. Many who are being badgered by physical pain or family drama. Many are aware that God has promised much better for us yet there feels like a vortex from hell has swept them into a consuming ache in their personal life.

And too, there is an expanse of loss in Mississippi River regions where people know that all they own is about to be washed away, plus the dear ones throughout the south who are still reeling from the sudden killer wave of tornadoes. It seems likely there will be more catastrophes.

As I carried all these in my heart, I looked at the church – I never look at the church as any single place, but collectively, as the beloved bride of Jesus, as the ones on earth with the ability and responsibility to represent her espoused. He left us in charge when He ascended.

I remember my Mom saying to me recently these words. “I heard Jesus say to me 'My bride is sick.'”

So as I came into the meeting Sunday morning, while we worshiped, I also prayed for His darling sick bride. She's is suffering with so many of the issues of life and she has no strength. She is barely praying.

As I lay on the carpet, between the rows of seats, thankful that we have loud worship so I could only be heard by God, I cried out for His help.

After a bit, I began to see her, both collectively and individually . I felt His compassion and He gave me a message for you.

Are you ready?

Here it is:

The suffering you are going through is NOT ABOUT YOU. ( not that He doesn't care)

The attack IS NOT ABOUT YOU.

It's about your fruit. Satan intends to keep you from bearing fruit.

The thief has come to steal, kill and destroy your life because you have the ability to make a difference in the earth. He intends to keep you focused on what is happening to you so you will not impact the world by being My mouth, My hands.

I'm asking you to push past your own trouble and fight. YOU MUST FIGHT!

Make a decision, that whether your circumstance changes or not, you will pray for someone else and focus on something bigger than you. If you do this, you will invoke the Kingdom of Heaven where I want to reign.

It's not about you. It's about your fruit. FIGHT to pull your mind and heart off of yourself. If, in the middle of your own pain, you will pray and care for others, you will overcome. Others will be helped and the enemy's grip on you will slip away.

You CAN pry your focus off of what's happening to you no matter how extreme it seems because Holy Spirit is here to help you do it. The world needs you to represent Jesus now, in the middle of your own pain. My grace will meet you.

SILENCE

I just back from a walk. It's now fully spring in north Florida and at 7PM, still cool enough to wear a light sweater, though plenty of people were wearing shorts.

I no longer walk like I'm in a rush to get somewhere. I'm more interested in the conversation I'm having with God , although I did most of the talking this evening.

On my walk, I noticed how safe this neighborhood feels. A couple of my neighbors have their garage door and door into the house wide open. There was no concern about being harassed by any of the passers by. All of us out walking were clearly satisfied in our safety.

These mundane little things can go unnoticed, but I think it's good to treasure a safe place.

As I walked, I rambled to God about everything from the beauty of the sunset to the need for laborers in Japan, New Zealand and other places. I finally shut up. After all, it's not polite to yammer endlessly without allowing the other party to get a word in. My greatest desire you see, is to hear whatever He has to say. You too, right?

I can't say I heard any booming response. I just know He was there, kindly listening and when appropriate, dispatching angels to carry out my request.

As I was ending my walk, turning the corner a few houses from mine, all the birds in the neighborhood seemed to be singing. The wind was blowing enough for the trees to make their AAAAAAAAAAH sound. I thought about the meeting we had at Zion Road Healing Rooms a few months ago when we were overcome with a heavy, intense awareness that the invisible Holy One was with us - and we could not, would not move or make a sound for a very long time.
It was silent. The music had long stopped. In that silence He spoke with no words and our hearts melted in His mesmerizing love.

It's the 3rd week of the month again - the week when we have our meeting at Zion Road on Thursday night. I wonder, would He do that again? How I wish everyone could experience that. Our world is noisy. I yearn to hear that supernatural silence again.

KEEP PRAYING - 2010 ELECTIONS ARE NOT THE REAL SOLUTION

After reading the book of Daniel chapters 7 through ( out of character for me), I prayed for America, asking if God to tell me what the next 4 years will look like to us. I thought it best to be specific since we are short sighted and God has a track record of speaking very far in advance. He, in His gentle voice began and I wrote as much as I could, as follows:

It will be glorious to those who are looking to Me. But it will also be difficult for many who expect everything to return to how it was when they were comfortably luke-warm.

The land, the farmers, the growers of food will see sorrow and the overfed will learn to be thankful for their food.

My people will slowly become awake and search their hearts, finding THE ONE they'd believed on to the there for them on every level.

Families will be restored in newsworthy numbers as the learn for the first time how I planned for them to work together.

My house has not yet learned my priorities. They are still a childish selfish folk. When you hear preachers instructing them to love one another, listen carefully. These are speaking my heart.

I have indeed set apart this nation to be a supplier for the Kingdom of Heaven and Jesus Christ but she is still struggling in her adolescence. I have not left her. My hand is still upon her.

Pray for my American Bride.
Pray for the very land.
Pray for her to turn her eyes from her purse and to seek my priorities.

Do not condemn her for she is MINE!

Do not be distracted by the agendas of the other nations and religions.
Do not entangle your hearts with surface level events.
Focus your prayers on the heart and soul of those in authority, not their deeds.

The next election will not solve the ills of government. Only my people, turning their hearts fully to me will do that.

Pray for my American Bride and look carefully as I turn her face to me. You will see my glory if you look for it and do not tend to surface events.

I'm after your heart America.

Healing the Land

Last night I dreamed that coffee prices doubled and food prices had suddenly jumped so high that you had to notice. The land was in trouble.

AMERICAN INDIAN TONGUES
Lately I've noticed that I sound like an American Indian when I'm praying in tongues. I began to connect the American Indian tongue as a cry for healing of this land.

HAVEN'T WE DONE ENOUGH REPENTING?
On many official prayer meetings like Nita Johnson's Gathering of the Eagles and the Call, time was given to repent for injustices done to the American Indians. Then an American Indian would express forgiveness and speak a blessing of the land healing.

I thought we'd done enough repenting. But in my spirit the words from
this Old Testament verse have been rolling around.

2 Chronicles 7:14
if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

There needs to be a great turn around, on a personal level - not the kind that comes through a "prophetic act" in a corporate gathering. The cry from God's heart is not to ones who don't know Him yet. This cry is to the ones who say they DO know Him.

God wants to heal this land.
The Indian tongues are calling for healing of the land. More than that, though, He is calling you, His darling, to truly return to Him with all your heart. We have become much like the Jews who Moses led to freedom from Egypt. They had become saturated with Egyptian culture. It took 40 years to clean "Egypt" out of them.

Anyway, I'm asking Holy Spirit to come with a pure conviction that will open our individual eyes. We will see where we need to turn back to Him.
With each one, it's a different matter.
Some of us have become too conditioned to rely on doctors rather than the Great Physician. If we find ourself without insurance we think our life is in danger.

Some have hardened hearts to the poor or to their own families.

Others are simply lukewarm, skeptical, unbelieving.

If you know me at all, you know I'm a 100% grace girl. I'm not into condemnation or performance based Christianity. His love and kindness is totally unconditional.

Yet there is a desire in His heart to move on our nation. He needs some more knees on the ground, not beating ourselves, but asking Him to pinpoint unbelief. lukewarmness or compromises. When He locates it, ask for grace to repent.

I'll keep praying along these lines. It seems that all the other matters will fall into place as we allow Holy Spirit to totally possess us.
You who are reading this are probably not the ones who need it, so please stand in the gap for others with me, OK?

HEY GOD – WHAT DO I DO NOW THAT I'M UNEMPLOYED?

For the past ten years, I worked as an insurance underwriter of the jewelry industry. It was a great job. I thanked God for it everyday. I knew though, that the day would come when my company would make a business decision to stop the jewelers program and most likely end my job. I saved a little more than normal towards that time.

When the day came, the announcement that I would be laid off with five others in my office, I wasn't shocked, disappointed or unprepared. I was certain the timing was orchestrated by God. There were too many things in proper place for other explanations.

I really needed some “down time” but I'm too young and not financially equipped enough to retire. I am very thankful that my husband has grace for the season.

I calculated how long my savings could last with the help of unemployment and thought surely I'd have a clear direction and open door when I was ready. I've done all that I can think of: posting resume's on the right websites, looked for jobs, pondered business start ups and so one.

GOD, PLEASE JUST GIVE ME THE ANSWER I WANT, HOW I WANT IT.
As the months have gone by, I have become more anxious. Most mornings, my first thoughts and prayers are “ God, please talk to me. Tell me what to do with myself. Please give me a
purpose and show me your plan..”

The other day I clutched my Bible in my hand and said “Please Father, tell me plainly, what do you want from me?” His answer was pretty clear. I heard these words in my heart, repeated over and over, with emphasis on a different word each time:
“ I want you to know that I love you and that I am going to take care of you.”

How do you take issue with God when He speaks to you clearly in response to your plea? Yet, I am squirming because I am really crying out for a concrete plan. I am crying out for something more like this: “ Get on the internet and go to this site: http://www.yourjob.com/ where I will highlight the job that I have opened for you.” Yeah. That's the kind of direction I'm talking about.

Now I know God's not playing head games with me. He loves me. And I DO really believe He's going to take care of me. . . . but Hey – are you telling my husband the same thing? ( He probably IS, if I'd just check with him.)

AND SPEAK MY LANGUAGE SO I CAN UNDERSTAND YOU
Today I opened my Bible and was looking at Jeremiah 33:3. “Call to Me and I'll show you great and might things that you don't know.”

So I called – loudly, thinking that maybe He wanted me to yell instead of whine and whisper and mutter like I've been doing. “Show me! Give me a clear plan. You know – like my brother, who's fingers are so connected to the piano that he has no doubt about his purpose or my pastor, who knows that he must be in ministry. Please give me such clarity, such fire.”

I didn't hear a word, have a vision - I just got a subtle nudge to write. I thought, maybe this will help someone else.

And I realized that I have a fire, a passion. It's not exactly income producing – but it's clear. It is to know God intimately and to compel others into their own deep personal love with Him.

Once I read a book title “ Do what you love and the money will follow”...Yeah. Sure.

Big fat lie: “GOD IS NOT HAPPY WITH YOU. THAT'S WHY YOU HAVE NO DIRECTION” -
Many who are His appear to be abandoned. I know of more Christians who've lost jobs this year than ever before.

Some are wondering
“What am I doing wrong?”
"What am I doing that has turned Him away? “
"Why is He silent? “
"He does not care about the things of this life.”
"He only cares about the lofty things that I can't connect to because I need
to have peace and a plan.“
"I am sinning somehow and don't know what I'm doing wrong, but it's keeping Him from helping me. ”

I saw these thoughts like a radio broadcast.
Then I pictured Jesus saying “ Satan comes to steal, to kill and to destroy but I have come that you would have life and life abundantly.” Don't agree with the accuser who lies and says God is not pleased, is not listening and will not act.

SIMPLE TRUTH

Is God your delight? If you say “yes”, then you can be sure that He will give you the desires of your heart. Contradictions are from the accuser. Cast those thoughts away from you like you would flick a bug off.

To myself I'm saying “Keep thanking Him. Keep walking closely with Him. Keep guard against the accuser who would call God a bad Father, poor provider, unmerciful, silent punisher. “

He loves me.
He's taking care of me.

HE loves me.
HE is taking care of me.

He LOVES me.
He is TAKING care of me.

Plans – He has them and will take me by the hand to step 1, step 2,.. I trust Him.

Reading the Bible like you've never read it before, in the company of Holy Spirit and Jesus Himself is like read a love letter with the one who wrote it sitting beside you to explain between the lines. He watches your face as you read His words and you stop to ask "Can you still do that?" Sure.

After Jesus rose from the dead, He didn't just leave it for everyone to figure out. He made sure that it was understood.

He appeared to a couple of His guys, hung around all day and talked with them. How they did not recognize Him is a mystery to me, but they didn't ...not until He broke bread. And then, POOF! He disappeared! He can do that!!! He can pop in and out between realms of the spirit and flesh because He took His earthly body with Him. Way cool!

Of course they were exploding with excitement and ran to tell the others. While they were talking, POOF! He appeared again. He had to calm them down because - well, they were freaking out with fear and panic. I guess so! But that did not scare Him away.

The story just oozes with His love.

He wanted to be sure "they knew that they knew " He had risen as well as WHY all this had happened. He encouraged them to touch His body so they were certain it wasn't a ghost. He asked for food and ate with them. I can just picture them handing him a plate of fish and honeycomb, with their mouths hanging open and hands trembling, unable to mentally process what they were experiencing.

He told them to tarry for the "Promise" until they were "endued with power from on high." They didn't know what He was talking about ---yet.

And then, they all walked with Him to where He was "carried up into Heaven."

I held the book to my heart and laughed and cried and laughed and cried.

Being American

Today there was an article in the paper about people who had just become American citizens. There were people from South Africa, Guatemala, Albania and so on. All of them had chosen to leave their native country and come to the USA. After living here for at least five years, learning the language, taking an American history test , filing a 10-page application and being interviewed, they were finally taking the oath. Everyone of them was very proud to finally say "I'm an American."

It made me think of what it means to be American. I was born here. Being an American, for me, was a very significant birthright that I would not trade it for anything.

Being American means I can openly express my religious and political beliefs without absolute certainty that they'll not get me thrown in jail. Actually that goes for anyone on our soil, American or not. So, no - that's not what it means.

Being American does mean I an vote anyway I please in elections though.

In many nations of the world, Americans are seen as the strong and wealthy ones who might help them out of poverty and oppression.
I'm fairly sure the world still connects Christianity with America, regardless of what they see on
TV or what they think of Christianity.

This is a nation that was chosen by those who floated across the ocean as a home where God would be worshipped freely, without interference ,restriction or dictates from the Government.
The laws of the land were written by Christians. I don't what the new versions of textbooks say - that the truth.

So anyway, back to my pondering of what it means to be an American....
Well, to me , it means responsibility.
Responsibility to first of all, protect our purpose for being a nation...One Nation, UNDER GOD.

As an American, I have to do my part to preserve the Christian heritage which is the core of why we are free and so hospitable that the nations want to come here.

As an American, I must pray for the government officials who have been entrusted with so much of our future.

As for me, I cannot separate being an American with being a Christian. There are many who are not Christians, but are Americans, but without Christians, this nation would simply never have become anything good that it is.
It was the compulsion to worship Christ Jesus that brought them here.

What about the Indians? No I didn't forget about them. Who knows what this land would have looked like if European Christians had never had landed. . . but it would not be the United States of America.

Being an American to me is a gift from God. I love what she stands for. I love being knowing that any government leader of whom I disapprove is subject to removal in a short few years of time. I don't have to wait for their death...unless of course they are a Supreme Court Judge.

I'm an American, a citizen of the nation known the world over for freedom.

WHAT DOES THE PRESENCE OF GOD LOOK LIKE? IT LOOKS LIKE ANNA BEING FREE.

A long time ago my brother brought this girl home to be his wife, Anna. They've now been divorced for almost 20 years but I still keep in touch off and on with Anna. After all, she is the mother of my #1 nephew.

I don't know where to begin with Anna, except maybe at the here and now.

At the moment, she is living in one of those transient extended stay hotels. She's been there for about 6 weeks in a situation that makes me think of the Good Samaritan story in the Bible. http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Luke%2010:30-36&version=NLT

This Friday she gets to move into her own miracle apartment - a new complex, with awesome amenities that has adjusted rent to her income level!

She doesn't have anything much to start with, but things will come.

This latest situation all started around Thanksgiving. Through Facebook, I realized that her only local family had left town and it seemed Anna would be alone. I called her and was ready to abandon my own family to take her to dinner but a friend of hers had invited her to spend Thanksgiving, so she was good for the day.

Her living situation was a NIGHTMARE. With very little money, only social security disability, she'd taken a room for rent with people she thought she knew. They turned out to be crack users, would steal her med's and one night they had attached her locked door with a knife until the broke through. They went after her, but "something" kept them from following through.

The plumbing was broken. Their bathing involved bailing the tub, then boiling water.

Anna was born crippled and not expected to live. There have been complications with her health always. She's had a mild stroke, heart attacks, diagnosis of a brain tumor, some kind of lung disease, and more.

As I joined my family on Thanksgiving, my heart was apprehended by God's broken heart over Anna. She needed help. Big help.

...and she has been a high drama, high maintenance person who's not made wise choices for many years. The one's who perhaps should help her would not or could not. Reality was I had to do something. There was no one else.

I prayed for wisdom. You need lots of wisdom when facing an ocean of need. What do you tackle? What do you not?

I heard Father say "IF she is willing to leave the west side of town and cross the river to live, I'll take it as a sign that she believes I can help her. And I WILL help her." She wanted to stay on that side of town: her doctors were close, her car wouldn't make it across the bridges, it was cheaper to live - mostly it had become her prison and oddly, her comfort zone.

I offered to give her a break for a week and put her in an extended stay in Orange Park - she liked that. Then she's ask her doctors to expedite getting her into a nursing home.

I then told her what I'd heard as I prayed. I was surpised when she said "It's settled then. I'm following you." We got as much of her stuff as we could gather in our cars and crossed the river. She'd broke through her fear of driving her sad excuse of a car on the interstate that day.

Into the Value Place she went and over the past weeks, I have witnessed no less than Resurrection. She's transformed from a very difficult drama spaz , who talked non-stop on the verge of panic and wished for swift death into a joyful, hope filled, Bible confessing lover of His presence. She said the other day " I'm enjoying just being alive. "

In the Christmas Carol , Scrooge saying "Are there no workhouses,?" sounds like so many of us who have plenty. I looked into HUD vouchers, United Way assistance and every imaginable institution to seek resolve for Anna's living situation. I could not pay that hotel bill forever. Did you know that for any institutional help like she needed, there was a two year waiting period? Truth be told, I was hoping I could rid myself of this difficult chore by finding an institution I could pawn her off to.

Then I heard that Still Small Voice "Call apartments that begin with the word "Pine"". The next call I made was to Pine Meadows Apartments. After finding out their normal rent rates I said that's too high and quickly blabbed a short version of what had been going on. The gal said "It is a miracle that you called today! These apartments are never available! We have one on the first floor with rent proportionate to her income. Come tomorrow and we'll start the paperwork to get her in around the first of the year. "

I didn't really want to foot her hotel bill until then, but what alternative was there? None. By the way I didn't do all that myself. I had some help.

Anna is living evidence that God's Presence looks like multiple chances.
He is the Father who always looks for ways to get us back home.
She's been rescued before...from a guy who beat her to a pulp.
A very bad marriage to a "Christian" followed.
After that, alcoholism, accidents and major medical troubles.

But today - she's full of purpose and faith and joy. She believes again.

I've been a Christian for a long time. This was a rare time when I've co-labored WITH HIM. There has been so much grace, so much grace! It is undeniable that He is wild about Anna and my blessing her makes Him happy.

That friend that had her over for Thanksgiving has been overwhelmed with God's demonstration toward Anna. Her relationship with Jesus is growing as Anna ministers to her constantly.

This Friday Anna gets her apartment.
I am looking for help to do the things I was planning on doing:
-rent the Ryder truck,
-pick up donated furniture from the warehouse
-gather her other belongings from the old landlords ( with bodyguards and evangelists)
-buy a bed (if one isn't donated)

God is faithful.

About her car - Oh! Does she need a better one. She takes her friend who is poorer than she
to the doctor with a smashed up little thing that goes forward only up to 40 mph. . . but that's another day.

Flying like Peter Pan through the atmosphere of space, heaven, places where spirits hang around.
Shooting past all at such speed, yet not being blown about.
One arm straight overhead as though pointing in the direction will make a difference, with the other hand grabbing tightly to a child who is grabbing tightly to another child. A stream of children connected and ascending like a beautiful ribbon.

Arriving at our destination:
Approaching massive doors that open with Angels at each of them
Into an enourmous room, like a ballroom , completely majestic atmosphere.
Ahead is Father, sitting at the end of the room, in a grande chair smiling. Approaching Him and then turning to watch a sea of children coming in like the tide comes in at the shore.
Slowly, gracefully filling the room.
Little faces light up in awe as they realize where they are.
This is Heaven.
This is God's living room.

Sobbing uncontrollably now at the scene , not in sadness, but in a depth of emotion that is beyond any single feeling.

Overwhelmed by the number who have come in.

He smiles with his whole face and says "They followed you in here."

DMy friend Deborah Fisher is facilitating a soaking meeting tonight at Happy Stefano's Pizza on 1st Street at Jacksonville Beach (located right beside the Pavillion). YOU SHOULD COME!

It's a hoot how Holy Spirit invades the place when we go to the upper room and spread our blankies out on the wooden floor and soak to the smell of pizza and the sounds of heaven.

This will be my 10th night of soaking in God's Presence after hearing Jesus direct me to do so. I've been in the pizza place, a hair salon, the healing rooms and homes and I am simply being
detoxed and made to smell like my Jesus again.

This morning I walked into the office at work and said "Good Morning" to a very close co-worker. She neither looked up nor did she act like she heard me. So I walked around to my desk which is next to hers and again said "Good Morning". Again, she acted as though I was invisible. I began to rehearse in my head everything I've said and done in the last 24 hours . Had I unawares offended her?

Then I realized that NO ONE in the office acknowledged my arrival. I've done nothing different. Yesterday everyone was friendly. Today I don't exist. I don't think I'm abnormally insecure, but I was quickly beginning to feel like I was being punished. It took a few minutes to see that this all has absolutely nothing to do with me. My co-worker is in serious pain and the others are engaged in other conversations.

Then my thoughts went to how how the Holy Spirit is treated so often. He comes, wants to touch us. But we are self absorbed in our pain or otherwise entertained that we don't even realize He's here.

I felt just a snippet of the rejection that we unknowingly dole out to the Lord today and it will make me even more alert to notice the company of the One who promised to never leave or forsake me.

DISCONTENT ABOUT BEING CONTENT
Last week, with my mind engaged in my job, which is nonspiritual by any stretch of the imagination, my train of thought was interrupted. Out of the spirit came a personal message to me and to many others who have been internally feeling a little ill-at-peace with what seems to be a season of apathy. Lately, it's as there is no fire for intercession; no great concern over the state of the world or loved ones. Not only that - I've been oddly content in my spirit, though a bit condemned in my mind about it.

INTERUPTED AT WORK
And - so - in the middle of the day, when I was exerting no energy or thought toward hearing Holy Spirit, He chose to speak.

I do love it when He does that. Anyway this is gist of His words. I stopped immediately and tried to capture everything, as I felt those Holy Ghost surges rushing around as I typed.

Dark days are over the horizon and the world is going to desperately need a strong vibrant Christian to help them walk through those days. These days seems like a time of not too much happening; a time when there is no fire for intercession, no burn for souls. It feels almost sinful to be doing so little – but this is the Lord.

This is the time of His preparation.
Not of study – we’ve done that.
Not of soul purging –we’ve done that too.
This is a time of re-supply; a time of drinking and eating to build up strength.
This is a time of learning the rhythm of resting and running and becoming skilled in both.

This is not a day when you are unproductive.
This is a time of gestation; of pregnancy – not of labor pains.
A pregnant woman is only in labor for a short spurt, but she is carrying the child as she eats excessively, sleeps much and makes a home for the new one coming.

This is the time to take care of yourself. But right now, enjoy the peace. Receive. Be refreshed.

You’re going to need your strength soon enough.
Don't fret that you won't be ready and equipped with the power and anointing to slay dragons, to bring life to the dying.

You won't be able to prepare for what is coming through your own efforts. When the time comes, the anointing , the equipment, the power, the words will be there.

More "floor stories"

Last week we met again at the Zion Road Healing Rooms for a soaking meeting. Soaking is just a good word to describe time spent with all of our being focused on the presence of God.

With all other gatherings, there is a "DO' purpose. And we need to DO things truly, however it is too common to neglect DOING NOTHING so God can finish what He began in us.

FREEDOM FROM PERFORMANCE BASED LIVING
I'd been feeling a nudge to point the meeting toward freedom from performance based living and brought briefly the outline from Soaking School on the subject. The CD that followed as we soaked was about nearly 2 hours of music and other pieces that further layered that into us.

IT MAKES HOLY SPIRIT HAPPY

It's a stretch for an American Christian to lay down and allow Holy Spirit that much uninterrupted time, but it makes HIM happy. He expressed His joy by coming personally, on a very real and intimate level to each person in the room.

ENCOUNTERS TOO PERSONAL TO SHARE

Afterward, some said that what was done in them was too personal to share. Others had some powerful images embedded in them and everyone agreed that this was a much needed amazing time.

A few days later a friend told to me of a very weird thing that she experienced in the meeting. She went on to describe in depth an encounter with Jesus reaching into her and pulling a deep critical root and taking all the time of the meeting to surgically stitch up the little crevices where the root had spread. (If we had shortened the time, He wouldn't have been able to finish up. )

I just got another email from her. Holy Spirit has continued in that process with her and is using other ministries to go into the root and really free her up from something that had been a barrier in her life for years. Through exposure to many perfectionists in her life, the root had come and is now being eradicated.
Her Father, she said, was quite a nit-picky guy. Nothing was ever good enough for him. She married someone who was similar in that perfectionism as is the extended in-law family. This has all seemed in to her soul over many years. Now she is free!

THAT'S why I love soaking meetings. They allow Jesus to come and plunder in His garden in ways no man can. We are His garden and He does His own weeding.

Fear and value of the Presence of God

Do I only worship Him for the purpose of giving Him what He’s due?
Knowing full well that He will indeed, do I have subtle wrong motives of manipulating Him? Luring His to me for the purpose of blessing a place, manifesting healing, making me feel good?

What is the purpose in my heart for coming to this place of gathering?

It is a good desire to be healed, blessed, encouraged –
But this must not be my motive as I worship..then it’s just manipulation for my purpose.

He is so loving, so in love with us, that He will allows me to do this.

So I will purpose to have this in my heart:
I worship You because You are the love of my life,
Because You are my God.

If you never do anything else in my life, it is of no consequence to my worship.
I just want to give you a drink and a place to rest.
I come seeking nothing.
I come only to give to YOU.
You do not need to tangibly manifest for me to continue to love You.
You do not need to speak, or to encourage or to bless the gatherings in any way..
The only thing I ask is that You please just receive my love please.

Pirates and Good Friday

Today is Good Friday. I think it should be called Dark Friday as a reminder that it was Dark when Jesus surrendered His life on the Christ and began His journey into hell so I would not have to go there. He fully paid my ransom so I could be free to chose a life in Heaven.
I don't dress pretty on Good Friday. Today I wear black, and I'm emotionally connecting to how expensive my freedom is...
The day remembered on Good Friday was a very long torturous agonizing horror of a day for my Lovely Jesus.

The only thing I ask in prayer for today is the freedom of the merchant ship captain who was taken hostage by Somali pirates. My father was a merchant mariner. He could have been on any of the ships the pirates have gone after. When I was 7 years old, he was on a ship that was stuck in Suez Canal because of war in the are. I didn't see him for a year and it was heartbreaking to me. A ransom is demanded to be paid to set this man free and release all his shipmates to go about their life. Jesus paid my ransom and yours. Today whatever it takes to end the wave of Somali pirates, I pray it will.

I can ask for nothing else today because Jesus has done enough. More than enough.
More than enough.

Sunday night I looked up at the and just said "I Love you Father". I just stood there looking up...and I felt like He wanted to whoosh down and scoop me up

...it kinda spooked me a bit and I went inside.

I've been thinking about that all week. It's like He's wooing me to come back and let Him return the love. It's as though He's crying out " I love you back , so much that I don't want to hold back any longer. Can I release some of the pent of passion for you? Will you let me? "

Elephant Gun

I had a cartoon playing in my mind today. It was actually Barack Obama holding a computer which was in the shape of an elephant gun.

There were many elephants, the symbol of the Rebublican party, you know. Obama just pointed his elephant computer-gun and was wiping then out. They didn't have the good sense to scatter. It was like shooting fish in a barrel.

The editorial to this:
Elephants...Republicans, that is, need to step out of the stone ages and realize that we are in a computer generation. Not only do they need to take a reality pill and get down with the average person, they need to learn to use technology.

I think any Republican running for office needs to appeal less to the starched white shirt bunch. Since the "party" somewhat stands for less tax, less government regulation and more in line with Biblical morals than the Democrats, I'm praying the have the overhaul they need before more defectors occur. Case in point: Glorious Johnson, city councilwoman here in town.
The dear woman is no longer a Republican. Apparently the elephant gang was incredibly unappreciative of her.

Letter to President Bush

Dear Mr. President,

I'm writing to express my gratitude for your service to America and the world during the past eight years.

Before you ,in America, Christians were labeled as politically incorrect. It felt illegal to openly give thanks in a restaurant or have a Bible on our desk at the office.
You restored our religious freedom. Through Faith based initiatives Christians have been able to help heal more of our broken people.

For the good judges you've chosen , thank you! You have done so many right things for our well being and the world's, more even than we know.

Beginning with your first campaign for President, I have prayed for you with all my heart.
Your first inauguration was my first trip to Washington. I've returned six times since.
Once I toured the White House. While there I felt God 's direction to pray for you to have proper support to achieve what you were supposed to do. I have repeatedly done so.

God knew we would need you to walk us through 9-11. Thank you for preventing us from sticking our heads in the sand, for dealing with terrorism , for keeping home safe and for imparting understanding of America's God given responsibility to the world .

You should be honored as good and powerful, right-thinking, noble, wise, quick to act and selfless. You have indeed been a magnificent gift to our wonderful nation. Please forgive our lack of respect and appreciation for you . It is shameful and surely offends God.
I wept as I watched you speak to address the Republican Convention this past year. You spoke with great depth of heart about the responsibility of the President.

I am confident that you imparted a strong essence of yourself into Mr Obama.

You are deeply loved by America and by God. Surely you will hear Him whisper “ Thank you for answering the call.”

Please continue to influence this nation and the world to do what is right.

finding wrapping paper

Every year I have a side mission to find Christmas wrapping paper and decorations that actually imply that Christmas is reltated to the Birth of Jesus. Last year Kohl's had some awesome wise men.

So far, I can tell you that Target and BJ's have nothing Christ related in their "Holiday" stuff. I noticed the snooty mall near where I work has decided to call their Christmas tree " The Great Tree".

I'm not giving up and I won't get mad at anyone.

In the meantime, I get happy when I drive by a neighbor's house when they light up the night. I tell Jesus that it's because He's the light of the world and the light of my life. And I assure Him, that this is all for Him.

Even if they don't know it - Jesus IS the reason for this season. If He had not come, Christmas would not be.

I have responsibility because I'm blessed

This year has brought many disappointments but still I wake up to a sun that shines in a beautiful city where I feel safe walking around.

I looked at my bank statement and see that there is plenty to pay the bills with, to buy food and to give some way so that others can eat.

Our house floorplan doesn't accommodate the personalities of Mr. MorningPrivatePlease and Mrs NightOpenHopitality but the mortgage is cheap and it's a good house.
There are no holes in the roof. Everything works. We almost lost it once, many years ago. It was God who gave it back to us. I long to move soon but I am so so thankful for this home.

I am middle aged and now over stuffing my clothes, with ripples replacing my curves - but I am healthy, strong, obviously well fed, and I do have clothes and shoes and coats and sweaters.
God has made me wealthy. As I look at my mother, I am hopeful that I will be strong and more beautiful as I age.

During this Thanksgiving weekend I will visit a friend who is living near poverty as she sits in a nursing home during recovery from hip replacement surgery at the young age of 53 and will be broken hearted to see that she is alone in the world with no husband or family caring for her. I will talk to another dear friend who is bedridden with stage 4 cancer threatening to steal her life before she's 65.

I will remember that time is running our for so many children who have no food or water again today; for so many children who have no clothes or shoes or school or even parents. There is never a day when I do not think of them, though I don't know them.
And as I remember them and pray for them, I am more than just Thankful for God's extreme abundance in my life - I am desperate to find a way to make a difference to those children who would love to trade anything to enjoy the worst day of my life.

To whom much is given, much is required.

Holy Spirit, help me do what is right with all these blessings.

Thought you'd enjoy hearing of these reports from our soaking sessions. I know it makes Holy Spirit happy!

Nine year Noah came to the meeting with his Mom. It was their "date night" when normally the were suppose to hang out together and watch "Smallville" on TV. It's his favorite show.
As I was teaching on how to hear the voice of God, I saw his little face and spoke to him " It's easy. A child can hear God speak. Just ask what He has to say to you. Then listen and watch for pictures on the inside. Sometimes you'll get a full movie. Just let it play out. Then write it down. Test it by your knowledge of God's character and His word. " Then gave them some examples of encounter people have had, like Heidi Baker's vision of Jesus pulling fresh bread from His side to feed the children with as He said I died so there will always be enough.

We had a great soaking time and Noah entered in. Later he told me he'd heard God. His mom called the next day to elaborate saying "Noah is so excited! He said he's never heard God speak to him so clearly. He gave him a scripture and said " You were blind but now you see. You need to pray more." Noah wants to be sure not to miss any of our meeting no matter is he misses Smallville because he loved it.
Hooray! Soaking is for kids! I just love it!!!

Elaine is a gifted artist who loves the presence of God. She never saw herself as a writer. In fact, she was harshly criticzes in college about her writing so she abanoned any thought of it. Funny thing - when she soaks, it as though Holy Spirit dictates poetry from Jesus's heart to her.

If you voted for Obama then you're obviously quite happy.

I have a nephew in London who, like many outside the US has a negative (understatement) opinion of my beloved nation. Yes, he was born here, but has been in the UK for many years. Well, he's not just happy about the outcome - he's now proud to be an American.

That gives me some cause to be less disappointed in my fellow Americans. I care deeply for this nephew of mine and long for him to find his homeland a place to honor.

Perhaps our nation's popularity among those who have in past years called her everything but children of God will be improved by the choice made the other day.

As I was posturing myself to think along those lines however, I recall a warning from Jesus. Selah this in the balance of what I just noted.

Luke 6:26 - Woe to you when all men speak well of you, for so did their fathers to the false prophets. Is it more important for our nation be popular or to be strong and do what is right when other nations do not?
This is a very odd time. Now more than ever, we must pray for our leaders to be filled with wisdom from God.

And we must be filled again with love from God and for everyone who doesn't see what we see. It's His Love and His Joy that will make the real changes needed.

Holy Spirit wants more of our time so He can expose Jesus's love personally to you and me.

Sometimes my efforts to engage Him are so pathetic and small. It's humbling and embarrassing as I crack open the door of my time to find He's so eagerly waiting.

I find myself so involved with the stuff of living - essentials like working and nonessential time-wasters like TV, sleeping too late, shopping for my 50th pair of shoes - and yet I find Him to always be on my mind, regretting that I am not more disciplined to sit and stare into His love.

What shocking love ! He pursues me. Patiently going with me - so that in each pause when I stop and speak to Him, He rushes to express His presence.

If I compare His love for me to how much I love Him, it's as though I hate him.

I look forward to the Soaking meetings because it's a set time to do one thing: learn what He wishes to teach me. Tonight's meeting will be a pursuit -that I pray will infuse my heart with His so that I am overflowing with His great love , so that it will pour out of me in to others who He wants to embrace.

If you can come join us for your own pursuit, it would be a good use of time I promise.

YOUR SPOKEN WORDS

Here it is a short two months since I posted this and I am embarrassed at myself.
I am listening tot he live webcast of a church service with Myon LaFevre speaking on the need to speak what the angels can use.
I really needed this again- so I'm re-posting it and reading it as I do.

You know, God speaks in simple short sentences that we can remember.

Then, for the particularly hard of hearing, spiritually speaking, He is kind enough to repeat Himself. Hopefully we all eventually get that cartoonish light bulb over our head and hear the Hallelujahs as we grin and say "I Get It!".

That's the pattern I've seen with a new spiritual broadcast of an old truth. Here's what I am convinced has been released for any Christian BELIEVER who will "Get It".

Now is the time to recognize the power and authority of your words.

Jesus made this clear when He said anyone who speaks to a mountain and tells it to jump in the ocean and doubts not what he says will see that mountain obey him.
Study it all you want. It says what it means and means what it says in any translation.
Read Mark 11:23 -24.
Consider who's image we are created in.
In Genesis He spoke the worlds into being.
This applies to everything.

Does your marriage need a divine makeover? What have you been speaking about it and to it?Don't like gas prices? What are you saying?

In short, we create everything around us with our tongue.

I've sensed a new release of more power in my own words. Things that used to take months or years of travailing prayer have changed within one day of my words declaring and calling things to be different.
Do you think the drop in oil prices is just a happy coincidence? Well, my mother and I are two people who have been speaking to the matter, calling them down.

We are now speaking into the spirit realm over the American people. We are saying they are wise and discerning and will vote according to God's priorities. And they can discern between fluff and substance.

We are speaking blessings over President Bush and calling forth the favor that he needs to finish all that he needs to do - favor with the media, favor with governments of other nations, favor with the people and with everyone he needs to cooperate with him. As my mother was praying and speaking these kinds of things last week, with the eyes of the spirit I could see laser swords shooting out of her mouth.

So I'm encouraging everyone to take more heed than ever to the old saying " watch your mouth".
Take it further. Picture your words forming what you speak.
And above all, before you speak, look to Jesus. Ask Him what you should say.

Bless those that curse you.
In everything give thanks.
Life and death are in the power of the tongue.

SOAKING IN GOD'S PRESENCE

A few years ago, while at the library I saw a sign with a picture of a yogi. It was and ad for transcendental meditation classes being held there. Being a Christian, it occurred to me that the library should allow equal time to have Biblical meditation. I may have had a brief conversation with God about it. I'm pretty sure the moment was marked in Heaven.

With that moment totally out of mind, I discovered a new word for Biblical meditation while at Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship on my first visit there in 2004. They call it soaking.

Soaking is a simple word that encompasses the practice of stopping the busy mind, being still, focusing heart and mind on God . Waiting for Him to talk to me, asking Him to say whatever He wants, I have found that He has much to say.

In daily life, my habit of waking up, getting coffee, multi-tasking my way through the morning, working, talking care of the mundane duties that keep the household in order, my time with God is like a conversation while jogging.

Corporate appointments to do nothing but BE WITH HIM are rare in our churches and our daily lives. There is just so much to do.

Soaking meetings are the best time of all for me. This is a block of time where no wandering thought, no task, no duty, no agenda, no sermon will interrupt Holy Spirit when He begins speaking to my soul. During those times, He has plucked up weeds from the garden of my heart, healed childhood rejections, taken me on flying visits to other nations, imparted vision and gifts and convinced me that I am truly His daughter.

Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship has a ministry training program to teach how to facilitate soaking meetings. I went to this soaking school and became infused with a heart to host times for Jesus where He could spend this quality time with His bride.

Many people have their meetings at homes or churches. There's even a meeting at the Fusion Christian bookstore.

Back to the library -
I started looking for a place where anyone could come. Churches and homes can be so territorial. I knew the library had meeting rooms and made arrangements for our first meeting. That's when I remembered the moment years earlier, looking at the transcendental meditation sign. God seems to have remembered too.

PRAYING FOR THE RNC

I've decided that I will vote for the sake of the possible supreme court judges and the unborn lives at stake.

As I watched my dear President, with red eyes, give a speech to an ungrateful nation last night I could only sob and pray for mercy for us and for him to be greatly blessed with the favor he deserves.

When the RNC followed his speech with a slap in the face by a video tribute not to his accomplishments, but instead skipped back to Ronald Regan it spokes volumes to me. I now understand vividly what God was saying to my mother a month or so ago.
She said "It was as though He was pacing and talking. He said he had given George W Bush to us as a gift and watched over this nation through him. It was bothersome to God how we had dishonored him. It was clear that He was weighing our actions as He looked at Mike Huckabee, the next gift He had prepared for us. "

The Republican Party is in much need of mercy and prayer. I'm pretty angry with her at the moment and it's difficult to pray effectively with a lack of love. I must though.

On an action level, I'm more compelled than ever to join the efforts of Mike Huckabee's HuckPac to help get the right people into the right offices.

If I continue to participate with the local and national Republican Party, they will probably wish soon that this vocal thorn in their side would just go away.

And I will soon write a personal letter of thanks to my President. I encourage you to do likewise.

McCain has announced his choice for VP.

While I am delighted that it is NOT Mitt Romney who's face just irks my flesh for some reason, and while I am not disgruntled about the lady from Alaska, I stand firmly locked as I have been for the past year.

I am as convinced as ever that it was His plan to give us Mike Huckabee as President through the door of the VP. But if God always had His way with mankind, everyone would know Jesus already.

The message this sends to my heart is a sad one:
I pray for a great awakening to come to this nation. We have sent the message to God that we think we are smart enough to figure these things out without His help. By we, I mean , Americans generally as a people.

I am sad for my nation today. I remember hearing sobering, chilling words from the two prophetic voices I have most respect for: My mother and Chuck Pierce. Both of them had a message directly from God that our treatment of our current President, whom He has given us a gift is being carefully weighed in light of the upcoming election. He made it clear that He had indeed prepared a very special gift for us in Mike Huckabee. His love for Mike, however is great. I feel that God has chosen, at least for now, to protect Mike from us.

If the election were held today, I don't know if I would even go to the polls because to me, it doesn't matter. Both parties have declared by their actions that everything will be decided by what's between their two ears.

Dear Sir,
You have a much bigger audience than I do and I ask you to use it this week to rally support for Mike Huckabee as John McCain's running mate.

I could give you endless reasons, but the most important one:
It's the right thing to do.

As the news media tries to convince everyone that Romney's in the bag for that, or the unknown Palawtney , they fail to focus on the best pick. I find myself turning them off.

I plead with you to use you platform to highlight the virtues and power of persuasion to rally support of Mike Huckabee as John McCain's VP running mate.
*he's been pro-McCain all along
*he's one of us - able to rally working class America
*he's one of us - a true Christian who shares our values

Don't know the will of God?

I participate in quite a few prayer meetings. Many times the people with the best words are praying/reading scriptures. It's all good but I wonder if God is thinking what I'm thinking sometimes..."What exactly are they praying for?"

Can I get real?
I long to hear gutsy prayers from people who have the hutspah to ask God for what they really want. When I was a teenager, I didn't ask my Dad if it was his will to let me borrow the car. I wanted the car and boldly, yet sweetly, asked him for the keys and extra money for gas and good times.

God is a much better Father than my Dad. He really wants me to ask for my heart's desire.
I'm totally His and have delighted myself completely in Him. He's planted those desires in me and then promised to give them to me.

The next President of the United States will effect the world.
Wishfully, by now all of us have prayed a first prayer like this one:
" Who do you want to be our next President? Tell me, then tell me how to pray to bring it about."
..and we didn't let up until He answered and confirmed.

Listening to many folk, I'm sad to hear only a rare few ones who seem positively persuaded as a result of such prayers and answers.

Yet there are some of us who have invested years of praying for the next President in the manner I just described. We are convinced that God has clearly answered.
I've spelled out lot's of how we've heard in earlier posts on this blog.

I'm 100% convinced that God longs to give us a President who will defend unborn babies and act towards ending abortion. He has worked through the young ones praying at the Call, the different HOP's and similar events to get this message burned into the hearts of His people.

During the past year, many have had visions, prophetic unctions and revelations which point out that God has chosen and prepared Mike Huckabee as His gift to our nation. Intercessors across America, who don't know each other, have been persuaded that His plan to make Mike President is through the Vice Presidency with John McCain.

Lately God has spoken a strong warning through reputable famous prophets and little praying Grandmothers saying "God gave us our current President as a gift and is watching how we treat him in our prayers, actions and words. He's watching and weighing whether another Gift will be given to us. "

My dear friend Leo said, truly, that a great move of God most often comes in bad political and social times.
Could that be because we, His people, didn't connect the dots enough to do what is right
until it's in our face in very sad circumstances?

We must honor, cover, defend and bless President Bush who has been a great benefactor to Christianity? I recall the years prior to President Bush when it felt almost illegal to be an open Christian in work and market place. He came in with Faith Based Initiatives, Constitution- reading- Judges and other subtle acts that have cascaded down. The head of the nation was openly Christian and now we are OUT of the closet! Hooray!

Don't sit around in despondency. This is the time to express great appreciation for what God has given us during the last 8 years.

And for the sake of the world who will be highly impacted by our prayers, and this election -

Get some hutspa to your prayers! Have the guts to ask Him plainly , to decree boldly. If you can't ask God to put a specific man in office, why even bother to vote?

I'm not praying "if it by thy will...." . I already asked for Him to reveal His will.
- I'm asking specifically. A four year old could hear my prayer and know exactly what I'm looking for. Whatever I ask the Father, in Jesus' name, is given.

I'm praying like a full blown child who knows my Father.

A PRAYER FOR THOSE WHO PRAY

Last night during the Huckabee prayer team weekly phone prayer meeting, I prayed a prayer for all of us intercessors. I was asked if I had it in writing…well I do now- sort of. As best as I can recall with license to embellish as I type, here it is:

Father Help Help Help! I pray for me and for all who are called by you to pray for the election, the President and Mike Huckabee.

We have become discouraged, weakened, distracted and have pulled away.
It's as though a storm cloud of personal disturbances, issues of family, health, finances and seeming failures has been launched to keep us from praying. An enemy has done this.

I am asking for divine intervention from you this night.
I ask that you move that storm of hindrances so thay we can be the mighty air force needed for this hour.
Lift us above it all so that we can, once again, be as an eagle soaring high above the circumstances and at the right time will, like bolt of lightening from the sky defeat our enemy.

I pray for a fresh wind and fresh anointing on each of us.
Holy Spirit, please help us to become stirred again.
Place in us a new sense of urgency of the hour.

I release the truth: Our prayers are effective and important.

Fresh wind and fresh fire come on the intercessors for America, the President, the election and Mike Huckabee in Jesus name.

TD JAKES, OBAMA and VP choice

Some of my friends are concerned about T.D. Jakes' endorsement of Obama.

If he wants to endorse Obama because of race, that's his business. It doesn't change a thing. When the big name preacher endorsed the wrong Republican, it didn't make a bit of difference and this won't either. Americans are a stubborn folk who like to make up their own minds.
In this matter, Pastor Jakes does not have the heart of God.

God has not changed HIS priorities about the election:
It is still about abortion.
The horrific practice of murdering our unborn is not just a heartbreaking stench in God's nostrils. It has limited His ability to bless and protect us.

He spoke to me very clearly about the election when I pleaded with Him to remind me of it's significance at a moment when I was wondering if we might wind up with Obama in the White House.

He said MAKE NO MISTAKE. The election is about abortion.
He has chosen a man who IF elected will make significant changes toward ending abortion in his first year. It is STILL God's intent to give us a President that we have cried out for with all of our heart.

If you re-read the posts of this blog, they are filled with the prayers and words straight from Holy Spirit. The prayers that have been prayed while operating in the true gift of faith and under the anointing of the Holy Spirit with a mantel of authority.

I and others are still LOCKED AND FIRMLY STANDING.
Every one of those prayers is the will of God and so long as we do not act silly and in unbelief, pluck them up with our doubt and foolish words, we will see Mike Huckabee become the President as the result of this election through the office of the Vice President.

This is the hour to pick up our sword, light it on fire, and quench the fiery darts being thrown with the fire of faith-filled intercession for:

*John McCain to quickly lock in Mike Huckabee as his running mate.
*News media to actually portray John McCain in the most favorable light with the most abundant coverage.
* Holy Spirit to shine His understanding into the people of America about HIS priorities.

Revival in an election year- Go figure!

I've found that the prophetic gifts, at least with me, ebb and flow. Sometimes it depends on what I'm feeding my spirit (busy with daily life, too much TV or lots of God-stuff).

I can't say I have a true understanding of why the "Mike Huckabee intercessory authority anointing" lifted off me after Texas primary. I'm not prone to try too hard to decipher stuff like that.
I am just locked in firmly that the prayers prayed were faith filled and formed by Holy Spirit. The prayers are OBLIGATED to be carried out ...
...as long as we don't uproot them with silly wonderings or speaking confusing words that hinder the angels who are in route with delivery in hand.

I have a feeling that the "election intercession authority anointing " will kick up again with us all after the Dem. Primary. It's important to hear from God even in that matter. Opinions are not helpful in this matter...that's my opinion.

I am convinced by visions I've had and those I've heard and read from others , that the will of God is for Mike Huckabee to be John McCain's VP selection and that will usher him (Mike) in as our President as a result of this election. See some of the earlier posts in this blog for the visions and words about that.

In God's priorities, the election is still about abortion. All the other stuff is detailed outflow of that one issue. If we kill our unborn, it's an open door that God's mercy cannot cover indefinitely.
Have you heard the simple prayer repeated by the IHOP praying ones ? It goes something like this: God, please forgive my sins and the sins of my nation. Send revival and end abortion in America.

Revival is now at hand.

But don't call it revival.
It was said that revivals dwindle and fade...but instead call it a move of God that will sweep the world and never die.
Call it the winds of change that have come to discomfort our fleshly affection for air conditioned meetings in cozy church buildings with a timed and well planned presentation.
It is messy.
It is sweaty waiting in line to get into church and cleaning up the buildings visited every day by mobs of desperate visitors.
It is filled with odd characters who may annoy you by their looks, actions and everything else.

Yes it's what we have cried out for with all our hearts and it does not look like we thought it would.
It's motto is "Come get some!". Some is one word describing the fire, the faith, the boldness to snatch the heads off of spirits of infirmity and boldly implement Jesus's directions to deposit the Kingdom of Heaven into Earth.

Physical discomfort is the hotbed for God to invade.

So as the wild hungry ones, the sick and desperate ones watch over the Internet and on GodTv as God invades America, an election is in the works.

Do you think it's a coincidence? I don't. I have no idea how - but I am certain it's going to have a huge impact on the election. I prophesy that every priority of America will be blown on by winds of change that have arrived in Lakeland and are blowing from there outward.

If you go, plan to be uncomfortable and decide ahead of time to LIKE IT because it's God!
If you watch it on the web or TV, don't do it casually. Let yourself be swept up in it.

What happened to fervent prayer for Mike Huckabee ?

For the season I was consumed with praying for the election the anointing was undeniable. Just as undeniable was that it lifted the day that Mike admitted to loss and left the race. To push on with prayers that are nothing less than a work of the flesh based on human reasoning would deny the genuine faith with which the prayers were release.

I am positive that every prayer for him to be made our President is DONE so the only thing left for me to do is stand and confirm with thanksgiving.

I don't know how and when - but he will be President.
I do believe that the plan is for him to be McCain's VP.

Last night I actually dreamed that McCain died before the convention.

I cannot whip up an anointing to pray. Maybe you can. ...so if you can, please do!

I am calling for JM to have visions, dreams and convictions that will compel him to select Mike Huckabee as VP Running Mate asap.

Did you miss me?

Since Mike Huckabee's primaries in Texas and Ohio I had lost the wind to pray. Or maybe I lost faith in my prayers.

It's not that I doubted that Mike Huckabee was God's choice to be our President.
And I am still certain of the confirming visions, whispers, words of knowledge and coincidences. I just simply misplaced the anointing and the sword.
I felt like I just wanted to rest and get a personal revival.

While I am still working on that personal revival, I know that there is a crucial election process continuing. If the prince of darkness has his way, all of us who pray will mope about listening to the accuser's thoughts " Your prayers are doing nothing. Why bother. With all the so-called faith you release in your declarations, look at the fruit it brought. You might as well figure out how you're going to handle what's coming when Obama is President."

Well, I've had enough of hearing that whiney spirit!

The truth is that every prayer uttered from this heart and yours has been heard and answered with a true and powerful YES. Most of us have heard Him say in our spirits "It's not over. "

Now that we know that Mike is not going to win the primary race I will release what has been in my heart for months.

I heard Mike tell of his Arkansas history while he was being interviewed by Ken Copeland many months ago. Since that day I have believed silently, that God would repeat that scenario somewhat to get Mike Huckabee in the White House and bring him in as Vice President.
God has prepared Mike Huckabee to withstand the grueling and humbling process of taking of lesser position initially. The people of Arkansas did not have the wisdom to elect Mike as their Gov until they say how he ran their state.

Around that time too, I had a flashing glimpse in my spirit of John McCain President/Mike Huckabee Vice President.

Those two things I kept to myself, mentioning them only once to my Mother . She, like all of us, were simply praying for him to win the primaries.

Around Christmastime Mom was in church worshipping.
She saw Jesus with McCain at His side.
No one was on the other side, but there should have been.
Jesus had His hand on John's shoulder.
A few minutes later, as she continued to worship, she again saw Jesus .
This time Mike was on the other side.
Suddenly Jesus yanked Mike’s hand high in the air like a fight referee does with the winner of a fight.

So many have their own confirmations that it is God’s plan to bring Mike Huckabee to become our President through the White House. I have heard more things as God answered questions on this matter also.
I think , though,
for now
that I should keep those in my heart.

Anyway let me derail the subject completely:
Here’s a little movie clip that I watch from time to time to keep everything in perspective. A friend was in Uganda not long ago with Todd Bentley. He said there was much religious oppression in the area and you can see it all around. This little one is the personification of how we should be in the midst of those who want to silence us.

Reason to pray for McCain to ask Huckabee to run as VP

The Huckabee Prayer Coordinator sent out the email asking if anyone is willing to pray for McCain to offer Mike the VP spot and followed with several excellent reasons. Below is my reply and his complete message.

Is anyone willing to pray for McCain to offer Mike the VP spot? I know that it is not a very appealing prospect to have to consider, but I've put together some reasons why Mike should become the VP nominee:

Reasons that Mike Huckabee should accept a VP position on the GOP ticket:

It gives Mike the opportunity to gain foreign policy experience—an area that was heavily criticized during the campaign as a weak point in his experience.

It gives Mike Huckabee a bully pulpit from which to champion conservative causes.

It keeps Mike in the public eye, and allows Mike to develop relationships with the national press. It will allow the press and the public to see that Mike is more than just a former Baptist Preacher, (even though we know there is nothing wrong with that) but an executive with experience.

It allows the American people to get to know Mike better. Mike is very likeable. And with this opportunity, they will come to view him as Presidential.

It allows Mike to establish relationships with Washington elites—the main source of resistance to his campaign in the GOP.

It gives Mike input to national policy decisions, like the selection of Supreme Court Justices.

It makes Mike the heir-apparent to the Presidency.

It allows Mike to transition smoothly to the Presidency should McCain suffer a debilitating physical ailment or die in office—something that is very possible considering his advanced age.

It prevents pseudo-conservatives like Romney from attaining power.

It gives voters a choice in November between an Ultra liberal-Ultra liberal team in the Dems and a Moderate-Conservative team in the GOP. The general election tends to favor a balance toward political center.

It gives conservative voters a choice. Many conservative voters will stay home in November if McCain chooses a moderate running mate.

Reasons John McCain should select Mike Huckabee as a running mate:

Mike is a superb speaker, he will be a great communicator for the ticket. McCain is generally viewed as lacking charisma. Mike brings the charisma that overcomes the personal appeal of Obama.

Mike has won the conservative base—the states the McCain needs most to win in the general election. McCain has won mostly blue states, while Huckabee has won red states.

Mike and John get along very well—as was apparent during their debates; John and Mitt sparred continuously with negative jabs but John and Mike were always friendly and cordial to each other.

Mike has more executive experience than any other presidential candidate in either party.

Mike has good ideas and a fresh approach. A combined McCain-Huckabee ticket would be hard to label as “Washington Insider”.

Mike is young enough to assume the reins after McCain retires from public life—just as George Bush Sr. took over when Reagan retired. That was not the case with VP Dick Cheney. Voters will be very sensitive to the age issue with McCain, but Huckabee can defuse the issue.

Mike has credibility with the social conservative base. If McCain runs without a social conservative like Huckabee, then James Dobson and other social conservative spokesmen will abandon the ticket, but with Mike aboard, social conservative spokesmen will likely support it.

Social conservative voters are skeptical about McCain’s dedication to social conservative issues. Selecting Mike as a running mate will help prove his willingness to support conservative positions.

Gun owners have determined Presidential election outcomes in the past. GOA’s website currently reads “McCain? No Way!!” But they say: “Mike Huckabee: Standing Tall for the Second Amendment.” Without a Huckabee running mate, gun owners will find it hard to support McCain.

I was thinking about that as plan B and actually God's plan A all along. God may be using McCain to get Mike in, knowing there might have been enough resistance against his candidacy in the fall election if he would have won the party nomination out right. It would be characteristic and follow the pattern of how Mike became Governor after running for Lt Governor in Arkansas.

Besides, Haley Barbour, who is a surrogate of McCain's let the cat out of the bag when interviewed by Fox News that Mike would be a marvelous choice and that was after Fox News went through the litany of all the other names with him.

You can maybe catch the interview on the Fox website or maybe later on today or tonight.

My husband and I believe that is why Huckabee needed to get into second place on the delegate count, which he did, and have a regional following which the Lord gave him, in order for McCain to publicly justify a decision like that politically before the party establishment.

With the fact that Democrats are now starting to make inroads to the more liberal element of the evangelical community, a VP Huckabee pick could squash that.

There are so many reasons why, as you listed below, that Mike Huckabee would be a superb choice and we should pray that God will all that together .

Mike said that the VP job was "the one that no one wanted but that no one would turn down", so he is not going to turn it down either if offered it.
Besides of all the names on the VP list, Mike is the only one that isn't doing anything.
All the rest either are getting older, or are in the middle of circumstances that are not advantageous to them accepting an offer.
I think that for these reasons we should start lifting this up in prayer, big time!

Surprisingly I'm not completely distraught today. This must be that peace that passes understanding. Last night on my way home from work I took a detour and sang loud and very off key to a CD and I laughed and laughed and yelped and yahooed. When I got in the house and turned on the TV to see dear Mike Huckabee ending his campaign my heart was broken that America had not seen the gift that was offered to Her and accepted him as HIS offer.

God goes through this kind of rejection all the time, yet He's not depressed.

Since I am positively persuaded that HE has not changed HIS mind about HIS choice for our President, I will continue to watch and pray. McCain has not picked a VP - if he hears from Heaven, he will pick Mike Huckabee.

This is the big vote day for Ohio, Rhode Island, Texas and Ohio. John McCain has 874 PLEDGED delegates. (1) (I don't know what creative math the media is using.)
Today, the outcome must be such that keeps him from the majic 1191 number.

This morning I woke up remembering a question I had posed for Jesus years ago.
Several months after I'd asked him the question He answered me.

My question: "What do you mean by the violent take it by force?"
He took me to the walls of Jericho.
After marching around the walls for days, a great shout, all at once was to be released by everyone. At the right time, everyone shouted and then the Hand of God flattened the wall.

Then he took me to other events in the Bible both Old and New Testaments. For example, when Paul and Silas were in prison it was their worship in the night that brought the shaking of the walls and the angel to escorted them out.

He explained that violence to the devil is not what you see on television - guns, fights, destruction, anger - those are his weapons.
What is most violent to him is opposite: worship at a your darkest moments, thanksgiving and extravagant giving in the face of lack, faith when nothing looks possible, laughter and joy when your heart is breaking, love for the most unpleasant people - these are the violent weapons that take by force the kingdoms of this world and make them the Kingdom of Heaven.

There is truly a time to make requests in prayer, to travail and cry and plead our case in the court. There is a time to take the Sword of the Word and apply it to situations

but today I believe is the day to be MOST violent.

Today I'm purposed to laugh at things that are meant to sadden my heart.

I will continually thank God for hearing and answering all of our prayers to give us Mike Huckabee as our 44th President.

I will not stop smiling because He keeps his promise to do whatever we ask in prayer believing.

Today, I will dance little jigs of joy for the victory Mike Huckabee will have in these four primaries.

As I'm driving in my car, I will hoot and holler and waive my hands and honk my horn in joyful thanksgiving because all that we have prayed is done.

When I perceive spirits of darkness lurking around, I will laugh and sing to the King.

BIRTHIN' BABIES

Since I have never born children, you might think "I don't know nuthin about birthin no babies!"

A few friends who are Mothers told me that they decided to get off the delivery table and cancel the whole deal since it was entirely too painful. Of course that wasn't really an option, so they pressed on through the agony and pushed.
Their coach, husband, doctor and nurse all yelling "PUSH PUSH PUSH!" Till finally their little darling is delivered.

PUSH is a familiar acronym for Pray Until Something Happens.

There is an ugly loud voice telling us to walk away from the delivery table. The false prophets say there's no way to deliver this baby. Don't you believe it!

What a beautiful day it was! Saturday morning in Florida on March 1 demonstrated why we have tourism here. Waking up I heard that sweet small whisper in my heart say "Go for a long walk on the beach and pray." Maybe the other people walking thought I was talking to myself like a crazy person. Oh well. I won't see them again.

My heart has been so heavy over the media and polls for our dear next President, Mike Huckabee. CNN polls were very discouraging and Sean Hannity's interview the night before had bothered me alot.
I saw that President Huckabee was postured into defense mode because of the nonstop annoying interview comments that he "just can't win". I get outraged when so much truth is missing ! I wish for a big platform to shout to the nation the truth that they are missing. "People here's what a brokered convention is all about! He can win the nomination there! This is how (and then explain it to them.) " I'd straighten out those talking heads on TV and Radio, yes I would! They'd learn from me that the reason Mike isn't in the lead is because so the early field was packed with guys who looked more electable and the American Idol minded voters were swooned by Romney appearance, Rudy's fame and and Thompson's name. Mike was pigeon-holed by the press as that Baptist preacher and assumed he was not electable and the votes were too dispersed.

Oh well - I don't have a big radio show or any other exposure to the nation but yesterday, on the beach, I was reminded that I actually have a more effective place of influence! Oh yes - and you , my praying friend, do too.

As I walked on the beach, looking into the sky, I walked into the room where the God of all Creation was sitting.
It just so happens that this Great Royal One is my Father, who loves me dearly.
He stilled His court, and bent down close so He could listen to me plead my case.

At the end of my long walk with God, I thought it time to shut up and let Him talk. I'd done most of the talking and asked many questions, so if I wanted an answer I should let Him speak.
And He did.

It took me over an hour to express myself but He said only a few words which answered everything! I felt like a son must feel who has worked in the family business and then his dad retires, leaving him in charge.

He said " What YOU say goes! And you can tell those who are praying with you that the same applies to them."

So who needs a Tv or Radio show.

On the way to work yesterday I was playing a worship CD quite loud and yowling along with it. I felt like my loud YAAAAAAA –UUUUH- AAAHHH- EEYY was somehow connecting to Heaven and I could fly away. Just then I looked into the sky and saw an airplane descending slowly in the distance. It connected in my spirit as a picture of Mike Huckabee’s campaign.

The plane will land safely at it’s destination because it is being carefully guided and watched over by the control tower on the ground. In my spirit I felt like it was a visual message that the hand of God was guiding Mike Huckabee’s road to the White House as skillfully and deliberately as the air traffic controllers were watching over that airplane.

At that moment, it seemed inconsequential that McCain has not accepted the debate challenge. It didn’t matter either that John Hagee made the nonsense decision to endorse John McCain.

I believe our prayers are orchestrated by Holy Spirit and God is using them as He guides this “plane” to it’s destination at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. Like the air traffice controllers look at their instruments to decide what to tell the pilot, we look at Holy Spirit and speak what He gives us. We pray it and the PILOT responds.

SPECIFIC PRAYERS AND COINCIDENCES

Some might say it's just a coincidence that what you prayed would happen did happen.
Oh well, we have a Southern saying for them: "Bless their heart" . You might or might not know what that really means. Anyway-

When I pray, I almost always ask Holy Spirit to give me the right prayers. That way, I'll have full faith released. I find that He is very eager to answer that prayer and that He is usually very specific. Rarely will He give a general "thy will be done" prayer. If I don't know for sure what His will is, then my number one objective is to find THAT out so I can pray BELIEVING.

So they other day, I was praying along those lines. Soon after I heard myself praying that
Mike Huckabee and the news media would begin talking about a brokered convention.
Coincidence: A half hour later, I saw Mike on CNN discussing a brokered convention. I continue to pray for more discussion about brokered conventions.

Yesterday, after again asking how to pray, I found myself discussing with God that John McCain advisors might discourage him from debating with Mike but I asked that John would agree to debate him. "
Coincidence: Yesterday, Mike sent a nice letter to John, asking him for a debate. This morning, it is reported that John said he's agreeable.
We keep praying for quick scheduling ,the right time, venue and network.

Look at our short history of praying for Mike Huckabee's campaign. Mom and I began last summer. We prayed for weeks asking for God to show us His choice . We confessed that we are not smart enough as a people to choose We only want the one who God chooses. He alone is capable of picking a leader of the most influential nation on earth. It's not a baseball game where the outcome does not matter.

After weeks of that prayer, Mom said " I was talking to God and asked Him if he was ever going to show us who He wants to be our next President. Then I saw Mike Huckabee's face. I have never experienced anything like it. I saw his face as clear as I'm seeing yours right now."
At the time I thought "Mike Huckabee?! What a funny name! His name alone would hinder him. But hey, He's the one. We'll start praying for Him."
Now just because it's God's will, it doesn't automatically "poof" into being. If that were the case, all people would be saved, healed and madly in love with Jesus. We are to be co-laborers with Him through our life. He commanded us to take dominion on earth.
What we pray, believing, is what we get. We reap if we don't faint. ..
... if we don't faint.
..............If we don't faint.

One of my first specific prayers was for Sam Brownback to withdraw. Most of the praying young ones from "The Call" and IHOP (1)were convinced he was the man and their prayers were for him. Since God revealed His choice to be Mike, we felt that praying people needed to get on the same page.
Coincidence: Sam quit. OK - maybe we didn't pray all the way - that he'd endorse Mike. oops..But now the majority of the Call and the Cause see Mike as the one to pray for.
After South Carolina, we prayed for Fred Thompson to go .
Coincidence: Fred Thompson quit.
We prayed for Rudy to quite.
Coincidence : He quit.
I started praying Mitt would quit. I say I,not we, because I couldn't find anyone who would believed that with me...well,
Coincidence: Mitt quit.

There are many things we've labored in prayer over, and they didn't happen. I looked back and saw that I wasn't really surprised at the results. It's a war and we don't win every battle. But lay down? NO WAY!

Today on my heart to pray are these for Mike Huckabee:

-Arrangements to be settled for their debate to be done right away, during prime time by the weekend.
-Great weather for Ohio and Texas as they travel and folks waive signs and vote.
-Delegates, delegates, delegates for Mike Huckabee at the convention( have you applied to be a delegate at the convention? Check with your state GOP on how)

Well that's enough for now I guess. Off to work.

LIES THAT HINDER FAITH and BOILING WATER

Every now and then, I feel like my prayers aren't being heard. After all the Bible
does say if I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear me, right?
Well, the truth is that I am constantly presenting all of my thoughts and actions
to the Lord and asking for conviction of anything that bothers Him.
A young prophetess said to me once that I am the garden of the Lord and I have been
trying to do my own weeding. He'd like to tend His own garden. It gave me the rest
that I needed. I needed to remember that today.

The accuser of the brethren circles back around from time to time and accuses me to myself. It's his attempt to get me believing that I'm not clean enough to pray effectively.
HA! He's so busted!
He is indeed threatened by our prayers which is itself an encouragement that they are working.

RW Schambauch once said that water boils at 212 degrees. Don't take the water off the stove at 200 degrees thinking it will never boil.
it's the same with prayer....

Specifically today I'm praying for the news media to make a big deal topic of the possibility of a brokered Republican convention and who it's worked for in the past.

The deal with McCain

Welllll- that's very interesting I thought as I watched the media handle the NY Times story about McCain and the blonde lobbyist. The paper media is being criticized by the talking media. They are all too childish.

I think the best thing to do is avoid getting happy over our opponents trouble and pray for the guy. I pray that if he's truly innocent, that this will go away quickly. If he's guilty or if this is some kind of sowing what he reaped by leaving his disabled wife for Cindy, then it will be handled in a way that simply serves God's purposes.
I just can't get away from how many times he and Cindy use the phrase " I'm proud..." when they talk. Pride comes before a fall, you know.
Be careful when you think you stand, lest you fall.

And regardless of which, I pray God will give Mike total victory in Tx and Oh. I honor Mike's wisdom to stay out of it.

I've been saying that McCain must realize that he doesn't have what's needed to win against the democrats and he'll realize that Mike does and will turn and support Mike. If you think what a childish dingbat thing to expect, well, -----I don't care.

Just watch. I have a "feeling" it's about to get real interesting. My task for the weekend is to lock in and hear God. He'll probably have to correct me on my smartipantz attitude , which I welcome.

AGAIN - DO NOT ABORT HUCKABEE'S ELECTION!

I thought's I'd rep-post the last part of my earlier post, because this part is truly the now word.

Well, last night at the House of Prayer here in town, I asked Jesus to meet with me and tell me about the significance of this election. If one looks at the grand picture of probability, you'd think Barack Obama is the next President.
Jesus said this to me :“Make no mistake. This election is about the blood of innocence that covers this land and is in my ears.
I have chosen a one who, if elected, will, within one year change the abortion practices in the land and will close doors of destruction that have been opened by it.
The others, if elected, .... and he paused. I saw the nation as dry land being overblown by strong winds.
I saw that things which had been covered by grace and mercy would be uncovered and doors of destruction would open.
And he continued “ will cause winds to blow over the land and it will open the nation to the very things I long to protect you from.
Make no mistake in understanding.
One way or the other, through blessing or through spiritual poverty, I WILL use this next President.
I have heard cries for this election.
And will not be short of hand.
You now need to carry it to full term.
Do not be tempted to abort this election.
Carry it to full term."

It's not over.
God has heard us asking for Him to place our next President.
He needs us to co-labor with Him in our prayers and faith for the miraculous.
What a wonderful demonstration of His glory for the most unlikely candidate to become our President.

RUNNING UP A SAND DUNE

Have you ever ran up a sand dune? It seems like the sand keeps coming and you are getting nowhere! You know you must get to the top and stopping is not an option. You just keep looking at the ground every step, glancing up from time to time.

That's what this primary season feels like lately to those of us who's heart breaks everytime Mike Huckabee does not win a state primary.

LAst weekend , Mom was feeling quit apathetic, cranky, discouraged, tired and annoyed with the feeling of getting nowhere. She didn't even want to get out bed until she heard the sweet words of God in her spirit: "You know what this is, don't you? This is a spiritual attack. " He reminded her of something He'd said to her not too long ago, after another primary loss. "I haven't given up on Mike Huckabee, so don't you give up on him either."
So, she did what a good soldier does. She got up and purposed to keep pressing forward in praying for Mike Huckabee.

Sometimes we don't get to feel the effect of our prayers. That is where FAITH kicks in. We just have to know we will reap if we faint not.

Anything can still happen.

This would be a good time to rent the movie "Facing the Giants", a true, yet almost unbelievable story of a losing footbal coach who encountered nothing less than repeated supernatural help as he turned to prayer over his career , financial desperation, infertility and everything else.

ELEPHANT PROBLEM - Grossly Obstinate Pachyderm

THIS TOP PART IS ESPECIALLY FOR THOSE WHO ARE PRAYING FOR THE ELECTION

The days around the South Carolina primary I felt drawn to drive to Columbia SC to pray. As I was looking online for a hotel room, I heard that sweet quiet voice of God say "just stay THERE" referring to a particular hotel. I didn't know at the time we would be in the same hotel where Sherman stayed and where Fred Thompson's team had set up headquarters.

Mom and I spent most of primary day in the hotel room praying. I wasn't mentally prepared for the level of spiritual warfare we had obviously engaged. I've gotten accustom to feeling a strong connection to God when I pray and knowing when I had what Mom's generation called "praying through". Well - this day was not like that. It was like plowing an endless field in the dark.

We went to convention center to watch the results that night and were saddened to see the tiny margin by which he lost. It was enlightening to spend time with people who worked closely with the campaign. We were told that Fred Thompson had devilishly attacked Mike's character. There is a Bible title given to the spirit he was yielding to: the accuser of the brethren. He followed Mike around the state, as though his personal mission was to harm Mike. That's about all he accomplished. ( and there we were, staying in the hotel where his people were..)

Later that night Mom said while were praying in the room she kept seeing an elephant. She didn't understand the meaning of it, but she knew it was not good.

We all know the Republican party symbol is an elephant so I said surely this is a clue that there is problem with the Republican Party. I've been praying for more understanding of this since then.

Elephants in their natural state are wonderfully virtuous - having great family values, long memories, great intelligence. But we've all seen the videos of an elephant which had been trained but suddenly went mad and trampled everything in a rage.
There's also a Dr. Seuss book which is seen as an amazing parallel to abortion. In Horton Hears a Who , an elephant named Horton hears the almost silent "yup, yup, yup" of the almost invisible Who's. Horton the elephant is a saving hero. But the elephant in our hotel room was not Horton. It was the GOP.

On the way home from South Carolina we prayed for Fred Thompson to quit.

He did so almost immediately.

So back to the elephant-
It is becoming more and more apparent that the "Grand Ole Party" has become a Grossly Obstinate Pachyderm". I suggest that it's leadership has been overcome by evil and we need to pray for them. Intercede for them. If the GOP goes the way of what is called moderate in the political world, the little "who's" will have no voice . The democratic party has long ago embraced murder of the unborn as one of their approved agenda. The Republican Party is the only side of the elected government which still gives itself to stand for life.
No wonder it is targeted to become corrupt by power, compromise and unbelief.

So as we stand for the miraculous in our nation and we contend for God to intervene and give to us Mike Huckabee as our 44th President, will you also pray for the republican party? Intercede for them as you would for a loved one is so heartbreakingly lost? I'm asking God to give the GOP leadership the wisdom to yield to His spirit or to move them on to other things and replace them ones who will yield to Him.

These next comments are not so much my redeemed side. It's just a little ranting and pinpointing things that have made it clearer to me of the "elephant problem".

Last night the Jacksonville Florida GOP Exec Committee meeting belittled Viet Nam vets against McCain who were in the room, ignored the supporters of Huckabee and Ron Paul and made it apparent that the delegates from the area are already hand picked puppets.

I am convinced that Mike Huckabee would indeed be overshadowing McCain in elections and polls if this process was all on the "up and up". I'm convinced that there are a shocking number of behind the scenes shenanigans of the GOP good-ol' boys who just don't get it. They seem oblivious to the well expressed concerns Newt Gingrich made at CPAC. (You can find his awesome speech on c-span.org)

The GOP apparently ignored the popular vote in Louisiana when they gave majority delegates to McCain.

The GOP state leader short cut the count of voters in Washington and called the election before all votes weren't counted.

This elephant has gone mad and is running renegade, trampling over the voters by manipulating, spinning the media.

The GOP is pirating the nomination! It's absolutely criminal! It's everything that give politics the nasty name!

Not only do we need to pray for redemption of the GOP, we should follow through on our votes.

After going to the polls in primaries, follow up on what's done with delegates. If you can afford a 4-day trip to Minneapolis Sept. 1-4, then apply to become a delegate by going to your state Republican Party website.

DO NOT ABORT THE ELECTION - KEEP PRAYING

I am the offspring of an amazing Christian woman who is my prayer partner.

My Mother was drawn to Jesus at the age of 6. The only one in her family interested in church she befriended a neighboring family to take her to church. As a child she would walk with God and pray for America. When she grew up and married, God gave her a son who is now a church leader in Sarasota and a daughter, born of July 4th (me). I think my birthday is a sign of my destiny and God's recognition of Mother's devotion to America.

Shortly after becoming a 40 year old widow she went to Christ for the Nations. Instead of becoming a missionary or full time minster, God sent her home to lead my brother and I to Jesus and to teach us all that she had learned.

It's been over 20 years now that I've walked with Jesus. For the past several years Mother and I have prayed together every Monday night for America, for the President and all matters related. We have taken 7 prayer trips to D.C.

When George W Bush ran for office the first time, I assumed Mother would automatically pray for and vote for him given that the alternative Democrat would do nothing to lead us in God's ways, but she refused to take a position until she'd heard for God. So, I waited for a long time before we could pray in agreement about the election.
Her prayer was to inquire about His choice. Finally she called me to say she'd heard from God. He showed her that abortion is a stench in His nostrils and He wanted George W Bush to take office because he would take actions to turn us away from abortion.
And then we began to pray with all our hearts for him.
It wasn't a pretty election. If you recall, my home state, Florida was a messy part of that election. I felt personally responsible because a month or so before the election, Holy Spirit had asked me to drive the perimeter of Florida and pray. I thought it was a only a suggestion, so I did not. When all the hanging chad drama began, I understood that I had missed it. He sent me to pray on the states' Supreme Court steps so I obeyed. I remember many nights of intercession over that election.

My prayer partner Mother and I have seen, sensed and have been given some direction by Holy Spirit and are praying for this ongoing election. As we have given ourselves to pray, God has kindly responded.

In August '07, there were lots of Republican candidates who seemed good choices. She and I agreed that we needed to first find out God's choice for President. We prayed for weeks, asking Him who He wants to be our next President. Finally, in response to that question God showed her “as clear as can be, like nothing I've ever experienced, I saw the face of Mike Huckabee.”

As soon as we figured out who Mike Huckabee was, we focused our prayers for him and have seen several answers to our specific prayers:
He rose in the polls from 2% to the winner of Iowa.
Sam Brownback , one of the candidates who would be a draw needed prayer cover, quit the race. We prayed fom Thompson, Guilliana and Romney to quit. All have done so.
I'm now praying that McCain will realize he lacks the gifting to draw the masses and will support Huckabee. (Hey ,you have not because you ask not.)

It's been a true tug of war and God has been faithful to encourage us to continue.

Mom asked Him once, “ Have you changed your mind about Mike Huckabee?'
He said “No. I'll tell you if I do.”
Once she pondered “Lord, John McCain is not so bad. I guess I could live with that.”
God responded with a vision of “ little babies in pink and blue blankets” with instant understanding that God wants them to be born and Huckabee will take action that will make it happen.

Just before Christmas she was worshipping in church and saw Jesus standing with his hand on John McCain's shoulder. There was no one on the other side of Jesus but it seemed there should have been. She continued worshipping and a few minutes later she saw Jesus again, with Mike Huckabee on the other side and suddenly, Jesus took Mike's hand and yanked it up high, like a fight referee does for the winner of a fight. I'm holding that in my heart.

There have been many mornings when I wake up determined to just listen to Holy Spirit before I say or do anything and He has met me with details on what to pray. One morning He listed specifics in His lovely still small voice:
Speak to the mountains to come down: McCain, Gulliani and Romney ( we had already prayed for Thompson to quit – and he did.)
TAKE DOMINION OVER THE DOMINANCE THE OTHERS HAVE IN THE AIRWAVES.
Call forth delegates.
Speak life to the army for Huckabee.

On other days I'd hear a chapter and verse ( not normal for me, not a Bible scholar):
II Kings 6:16 See there are more with us than with them.
Also, Ps 139:5, Ezek 37:4 and 11 Cor 6:1 (a)

Now lately, if you've watched news at all, you know the politico's have decided that McCain is the Republican nominee. It takes 1191 delegates to become Republican nominee and he has over 800 while Mike has about 300. There no way Mike can get 1191 before the Republican Convention in September. It's slimly possible for him to keep McCain from winning the balance he needs in the upcoming primaries. That would cause the convention to be where he's picked. I for one plan to be there.
It seems like daily McCain gets another big name endorsement.

Everyday Huckabee continues to campaign with all his heart. When he loses, it's not by much.

PRAYER FOR THE ELECTION

I've been asked what I'm hearing now about the election and how to pray now. It's shaken down toMcCain and Huckabee left standing and the numbersimplying that McCain is so far ahead that it wouldtake a miracle for Huckabee to catch up.

My prayer partnet (Mom) and I are hearing this: "I've got him right where I want him. Don't give up onMike Huckabee because I haven't. "

For those who like to do math, I remind you : That isnot God's way.
But if you must - here's are some facts:
a) To win by his own delegate count prior to theconvention Mike Huckabee must win 95% of the remainingdelegates from the states yet to vote. McCain wouldneed 44% of them.
b) Duncan Hunter has endorsed him, so Duncan'sdelegates will be obliged to go for Huckabee.
c) No one's factored in the delegates that wereassigned to Fred Thompson who has endorsed no one. Also Mitt's delegates are now open, which changes themath. The other's who have dropped out now have freedelegates who will make their call at the convention.

I believe the nominee for the Republican party will be decided at the national convention Sept. 1 - 4 .

I heard one of the news talking heads on MSNBC say these words lastnight: "If Mike Huckabee is the anointed of God and the Handof God is going to be placed upon him or not, we inthe real world have to deal with the facts of thenumbers......

Well, I say

God seems to prefer impossible odds.

What about the resurrection of dead Lazarus?

What about the 5000 families who were fed with alittle boys lunch?

How about the uncircumcised Philistine who ranted onabout the inadequacy of the Israeli army until he waswacked in the head by a little boys rock?

Or the millions of Jews crammed up to the shore of the sea with iminent destruction by Pharoahs army until the sea split open with the ground patted dry?

What about the past opponents who we prayed would quit the race : Brownback, Thompson, Guiliani and finallyRomney?

What about the prayers that have been cried from our own voice for years: God , forgive our sins and the sins of our nation. Send revival. End abortion inAmerica. Give us a President chosen by you, who willhave your heart and will be good for us.

What about the prayers that many of us have prayed and had answered for our own lives - usually at the lastminute, when it looked ridiculously impossible?

That's surely why I hear "I've got him right where Iwant him."

So keep praying.
Pray some childish faith filled prayer that defies reason, like I am. ( example asking for 100% of the delegates in the next 6 states.)

With me pray, "God, we believe that you are offering Mike Huckabee to us to be our President and we are thankful. We ask that you intervene however needed so that Mike Huckabee who was the 44th Governer of Arkansas will become our 44th President."

I heard of a Christian who has decided to vote for a man based on the understanding that Kim Clement prophesied that our next president wouldn't be saved when he came into office. More correctly, Kim's said he won't seem concerned with spiritual matters and many will say he's a democrat but he's actually a republican.

I doubt that the Christian realizes Kim also prophesied that God had dealt with Hillary and she would not seek to be president.

Look, I've read all of the prophetic websites and words and find them all to be vague and conflicting at best.

Perhaps God would like us to ask Him directly since we are no longer required to hear from Him only through a prophet. ("My sheep hear my voice.")

With such vague prophetic words, why base something as critical as this next President on a word that is so easy to interpret wrong?

Why pick the President on the changing perceptions of what's best for "me" or worse - who seems "electable"?

Beloved Christian, you are a real child of the living God. He loves you enough to answer your questions. Are we any smarter than the children of Israel who nagged God until He allowed them an earthly king ? They wanted the good looking tall fellow so He let them have Saul. God will actually give us what WE want - but don't you really want what HE wants?

I beg of you, please, to pray. "Father, in Jesus name I simply ask you to please show me who you WHO HE WANT to be our President." Then wait until He shows you. And when he does, wholeheartedly support Gods choice, not yours.

If it's important to you, He'll tell you.

This is how Mike Huckabee described the race for the nomination and election. Thank God he has been training to run the Boston marathon and has a good understanding of how it works. I'm praying for you sir. I believe you and all of us working and praying for you will receive a powerful second wind that will be more invigorating than the first part of the race.

Nation, we need this guy to be our President.
