THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE
IN CONGRESS,

JULY 4, 1776

The unanimous Declaration of the thirteen united States of America


When in the Course of human events it becomes necessary for one people to dissolve the political bands which have connected them with another and to assume among the powers of the earth,

the separate and equal station to which the Laws of Nature and of Nature's God entitle them, a decent respect to the opinions of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to the separation.We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.



— That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed,



— That whenever any Form of Government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the Right of the People to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new Government, laying its foundation on such principles and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their Safety and Happiness. Prudence, indeed, will dictate that Governments long established should not be changed for light and transient causes; and accordingly all experience hath shewn that mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable than to right themselves by abolishing the forms to which they are accustomed. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.



— Such has been the patient sufferance of these Colonies; and such is now the necessity which constrains them to alter their former Systems of Government. The history of the present King of Great Britain is a history of repeated injuries and usurpations, all having in direct object the establishment of an absolute Tyranny over these States. To prove this, let Facts be submitted to a candid world.

He has refused his Assent to Laws, the most wholesome and necessary for the public good.


He has forbidden his Governors to pass Laws of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his Assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to attend to them.


He has refused to pass other Laws for the accommodation of large districts of people, unless those people would relinquish the right of Representation in the Legislature, a right inestimable to them and formidable to tyrants only.


He has called together legislative bodies at places unusual, uncomfortable, and distant from the depository of their Public Records, for the sole purpose of fatiguing them into compliance with his measures.


He has dissolved Representative Houses repeatedly, for opposing with manly firmness his invasions on the rights of the people.


He has refused for a long time, after such dissolutions, to cause others to be elected, whereby the Legislative Powers, incapable of Annihilation, have returned to the People at large for their exercise; the State remaining in the mean time exposed to all the dangers of invasion from without, and convulsions within.


He has endeavoured to prevent the population of these States; for that purpose obstructing the Laws for Naturalization of Foreigners; refusing to pass others to encourage their migrations hither, and raising the conditions of new Appropriations of Lands.


He has obstructed the Administration of Justice by refusing his Assent to Laws for establishing Judiciary Powers.


He has made Judges dependent on his Will alone for the tenure of their offices, and the amount and payment of their salaries.


He has erected a multitude of New Offices, and sent hither swarms of Officers to harass our people and eat out their substance.


He has kept among us, in times of peace, Standing Armies without the Consent of our legislatures.


He has affected to render the Military independent of and superior to the Civil Power.


He has combined with others to subject us to a jurisdiction foreign to our constitution, and unacknowledged by our laws; giving his Assent to their Acts of pretended Legislation


For quartering large bodies of armed troops among us



For protecting them, by a mock Trial from punishment for any Murders which they should commit on the Inhabitants of these States



For cutting off our Trade with all parts of the world



For imposing Taxes on us without our Consent



For depriving us in many cases, of the benefit of Trial by Jury



For transporting us beyond Seas to be tried for pretended offences



For abolishing the free System of English Laws in a neighbouring Province, establishing therein an Arbitrary government, and enlarging its Boundaries so as to render it at once an example and fit instrument for introducing the same absolute rule into these Colonies



For taking away our Charters, abolishing our most valuable Laws and altering fundamentally the Forms of our Governments


For suspending our own Legislatures, and declaring themselves invested with power to legislate for us in all cases whatsoever.


He has abdicated Government here, by declaring us out of his Protection and waging War against us.


He has plundered our seas, ravaged our coasts, burnt our towns, and destroyed the lives of our people.


He is at this time transporting large Armies of foreign Mercenaries to compleat the works of death, desolation, and tyranny, already begun with circumstances of Cruelty & Perfidy scarcely paralleled in the most barbarous ages, and totally unworthy the Head of a civilized nation.


He has constrained our fellow Citizens taken Captive on the high Seas to bear Arms against their Country, to become the executioners of their friends and Brethren, or to fall themselves by their Hands.


He has excited domestic insurrections amongst us, and has endeavoured to bring on the inhabitants of our frontiers, the merciless Indian Savages whose known rule of warfare, is an undistinguished destruction of all ages, sexes and conditions.


In every stage of these Oppressions We have Petitioned for Redress in the most humble terms: Our repeated Petitions have been answered only by repeated injury. A Prince, whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Tyrant, is unfit to be the ruler of a free people.


Nor have We been wanting in attentions to our British brethren.


We have warned them from time to time of attempts by their legislature to extend an unwarrantable jurisdiction over us.


We have reminded them of the circumstances of our emigration and settlement here.


We have appealed to their native justice and magnanimity, and we have conjured them by the ties of our common kindred to disavow these usurpations, which would inevitably interrupt our connections and correspondence.


They too have been deaf to the voice of justice and of consanguinity. We must, therefore, acquiesce in the necessity, which denounces our Separation, and hold them, as we hold the rest of mankind, Enemies in War, in Peace Friends.


We, therefore, the Representatives of the united States of America, in General Congress, Assembled, appealing to the Supreme Judge of the world for the rectitude of our intentions, do, in the Name, and by Authority of the good People of these Colonies, solemnly publish and declare, That these united Colonies are, and of Right ought to be Free and Independent States, that they are Absolved from all Allegiance to the British Crown, and that all political connection between them and the State of Great Britain, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that as Free and Independent States, they have full Power to levy War, conclude Peace, contract Alliances, establish Commerce, and to do all other Acts and Things which Independent States may of right do.




— And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of Divine Providence, we mutually pledge to each other our Lives, our Fortunes, and our sacred Honor.

A PRAYER FOR THOSE WHO PRAY

Last night during the Huckabee prayer team weekly phone prayer meeting, I prayed a prayer for all of us intercessors. I was asked if I had it in writing…well I do now- sort of. As best as I can recall with license to embellish as I type, here it is:

Father Help Help Help! I pray for me and for all who are called by you to pray for the election, the President and Mike Huckabee.

We have become discouraged, weakened, distracted and have pulled away.
It's as though a storm cloud of personal disturbances, issues of family, health, finances and seeming failures has been launched to keep us from praying. An enemy has done this.

I am asking for divine intervention from you this night.
I ask that you move that storm of hindrances so thay we can be the mighty air force needed for this hour.
Lift us above it all so that we can, once again, be as an eagle soaring high above the circumstances and at the right time will, like bolt of lightening from the sky defeat our enemy.

I pray for a fresh wind and fresh anointing on each of us.
Holy Spirit, please help us to become stirred again.
Place in us a new sense of urgency of the hour.

I release the truth: Our prayers are effective and important.

Fresh wind and fresh fire come on the intercessors for America, the President, the election and Mike Huckabee in Jesus name.

TD JAKES, OBAMA and VP choice

Some of my friends are concerned about T.D. Jakes' endorsement of Obama.

If he wants to endorse Obama because of race, that's his business. It doesn't change a thing. When the big name preacher endorsed the wrong Republican, it didn't make a bit of difference and this won't either. Americans are a stubborn folk who like to make up their own minds.
In this matter, Pastor Jakes does not have the heart of God.

God has not changed HIS priorities about the election:
It is still about abortion.
The horrific practice of murdering our unborn is not just a heartbreaking stench in God's nostrils. It has limited His ability to bless and protect us.

He spoke to me very clearly about the election when I pleaded with Him to remind me of it's significance at a moment when I was wondering if we might wind up with Obama in the White House.

He said MAKE NO MISTAKE. The election is about abortion.
He has chosen a man who IF elected will make significant changes toward ending abortion in his first year. It is STILL God's intent to give us a President that we have cried out for with all of our heart.

If you re-read the posts of this blog, they are filled with the prayers and words straight from Holy Spirit. The prayers that have been prayed while operating in the true gift of faith and under the anointing of the Holy Spirit with a mantel of authority.

I and others are still LOCKED AND FIRMLY STANDING.
Every one of those prayers is the will of God and so long as we do not act silly and in unbelief, pluck them up with our doubt and foolish words, we will see Mike Huckabee become the President as the result of this election through the office of the Vice President.

This is the hour to pick up our sword, light it on fire, and quench the fiery darts being thrown with the fire of faith-filled intercession for:

*John McCain to quickly lock in Mike Huckabee as his running mate.
*News media to actually portray John McCain in the most favorable light with the most abundant coverage.
* Holy Spirit to shine His understanding into the people of America about HIS priorities.

Revival in an election year- Go figure!

I've found that the prophetic gifts, at least with me, ebb and flow. Sometimes it depends on what I'm feeding my spirit (busy with daily life, too much TV or lots of God-stuff).

I can't say I have a true understanding of why the "Mike Huckabee intercessory authority anointing" lifted off me after Texas primary. I'm not prone to try too hard to decipher stuff like that.
I am just locked in firmly that the prayers prayed were faith filled and formed by Holy Spirit. The prayers are OBLIGATED to be carried out ...
...as long as we don't uproot them with silly wonderings or speaking confusing words that hinder the angels who are in route with delivery in hand.

I have a feeling that the "election intercession authority anointing " will kick up again with us all after the Dem. Primary. It's important to hear from God even in that matter. Opinions are not helpful in this matter...that's my opinion.

I am convinced by visions I've had and those I've heard and read from others , that the will of God is for Mike Huckabee to be John McCain's VP selection and that will usher him (Mike) in as our President as a result of this election. See some of the earlier posts in this blog for the visions and words about that.

In God's priorities, the election is still about abortion. All the other stuff is detailed outflow of that one issue. If we kill our unborn, it's an open door that God's mercy cannot cover indefinitely.
Have you heard the simple prayer repeated by the IHOP praying ones ? It goes something like this: God, please forgive my sins and the sins of my nation. Send revival and end abortion in America.

------Well, He's heard us.

Revival is now at hand.
It has begun in Lakeland, Fl. ( check out www.freshfire.ca)
But don't call it revival.
It was said that revivals dwindle and fade...but instead call it a move of God that will sweep the world and never die.
Call it the winds of change that have come to discomfort our fleshly affection for air conditioned meetings in cozy church buildings with a timed and well planned presentation.
It is messy.
It is sweaty waiting in line to get into church and cleaning up the buildings visited every day by mobs of desperate visitors.
It is filled with odd characters who may annoy you by their looks, actions and everything else.

Yes it's what we have cried out for with all our hearts and it does not look like we thought it would.
It's motto is "Come get some!". Some is one word describing the fire, the faith, the boldness to snatch the heads off of spirits of infirmity and boldly implement Jesus's directions to deposit the Kingdom of Heaven into Earth.

Physical discomfort is the hotbed for God to invade.

So as the wild hungry ones, the sick and desperate ones watch over the Internet and on GodTv as God invades America, an election is in the works.

Do you think it's a coincidence? I don't. I have no idea how - but I am certain it's going to have a huge impact on the election. I prophesy that every priority of America will be blown on by winds of change that have arrived in Lakeland and are blowing from there outward.

If you go, plan to be uncomfortable and decide ahead of time to LIKE IT because it's God!
If you watch it on the web or TV, don't do it casually. Let yourself be swept up in it.

What happened to fervent prayer for Mike Huckabee ?

For the season I was consumed with praying for the election the anointing was undeniable. Just as undeniable was that it lifted the day that Mike admitted to loss and left the race. To push on with prayers that are nothing less than a work of the flesh based on human reasoning would deny the genuine faith with which the prayers were release.

I am positive that every prayer for him to be made our President is DONE so the only thing left for me to do is stand and confirm with thanksgiving.

I don't know how and when - but he will be President.
I do believe that the plan is for him to be McCain's VP.

Last night I actually dreamed that McCain died before the convention.

I cannot whip up an anointing to pray. Maybe you can. ...so if you can, please do!

I am calling for JM to have visions, dreams and convictions that will compel him to select Mike Huckabee as VP Running Mate asap.
