"THE VIOLENT TAKE IT BY FORCE "ISN'T WHAT YOU THINK

This is the big vote day for Ohio, Rhode Island, Texas and Ohio. John McCain has 874 PLEDGED delegates. (1) (I don't know what creative math the media is using.)
Today, the outcome must be such that keeps him from the majic 1191 number.

This morning I woke up remembering a question I had posed for Jesus years ago.
Several months after I'd asked him the question He answered me.

My question: "What do you mean by the violent take it by force?"
He took me to the walls of Jericho.
After marching around the walls for days, a great shout, all at once was to be released by everyone. At the right time, everyone shouted and then the Hand of God flattened the wall.

Then he took me to other events in the Bible both Old and New Testaments. For example, when Paul and Silas were in prison it was their worship in the night that brought the shaking of the walls and the angel to escorted them out.

He explained that violence to the devil is not what you see on television - guns, fights, destruction, anger - those are his weapons.
What is most violent to him is opposite: worship at a your darkest moments, thanksgiving and extravagant giving in the face of lack, faith when nothing looks possible, laughter and joy when your heart is breaking, love for the most unpleasant people - these are the violent weapons that take by force the kingdoms of this world and make them the Kingdom of Heaven.

There is truly a time to make requests in prayer, to travail and cry and plead our case in the court. There is a time to take the Sword of the Word and apply it to situations

but today I believe is the day to be MOST violent.

Today I'm purposed to laugh at things that are meant to sadden my heart.

I will continually thank God for hearing and answering all of our prayers to give us Mike Huckabee as our 44th President.

I will not stop smiling because He keeps his promise to do whatever we ask in prayer believing.

Today, I will dance little jigs of joy for the victory Mike Huckabee will have in these four primaries.

As I'm driving in my car, I will hoot and holler and waive my hands and honk my horn in joyful thanksgiving because all that we have prayed is done.

When I perceive spirits of darkness lurking around, I will laugh and sing to the King.

Yeah God! Hooray Hooray Hooray! I'm getting happy already!

Anita, I must say you have been teaching me how to share more of what the Lord is revealing, and I love how you have been doing this and you have this site to encourage many others. I would love to keep in touch and am excited about what God is doing!!!

During my 1am-3am time, I was so impelled by God's overwhelming love and Spirit, I just worshipped Him!!! His presence was captivating. Really, the only prayer during that time was for souls as God led. He has impressed on me since January that through this election many would be saved:-) He spoke many beautiful tings to my heart during this time. I just worshipped Him, and so did my kitties (they always go crazy when the presence of the Lord falls--every creature praises the Lord), and He had me outside on the deck where the wide open skies and stars were upon me. It was amazing! I will continue to worship, and thanks for your encouragment and confirmation:-)

I e-mailed this to Sherri yesterday about a dream I had yesterday (and the Lord impressed on me singing and dancing today like you say!!):

I had been saying, I don't know "how" God will do it (Mike being President), but
I know "why" and I also know He will do it:-)

I had some dreams that I want to sit with God about to fully
understand (on 3-3-08). One was we were having votes come in, though it was for Christians and not specifically Mike Huckabee. What I mean is that it was like there was a competition of sorts, and the Christians were all on one team. And, we were waiting for votes to come in for our team, and they were. From what I can recall from
the dream, we were winning and leading. I do not remember the end, but I remember that many of us were all gathered all around, some inside and outside (almost like a school building) some on the field, and each of us were sitting on the floor or ground on blankets, like we were having a picnic and a big party with groups of us all around. We were talking, laughing, and just waiting for the results. I honestly believe that we were leading significantly in the results, yet I either woke up before the end or I do not remember.

Well, I am still seeking God about these dreams... however, I am encouraged about the Christians winning because this election is more about God's will versus the devil's agenda, and Light versus darkness, good versus evil, Christians versus the enemy! I am believing God gave me this dream even as a promise and confirmation, even of what you said your mother and you have been
praying--for the votes to come in (& delegates)! This is sooo awesome! I love the unity we have in the Spirit and the teamwork, as the army of God.

I have also had two other dreams over the past month in which we were having parties and gatherings (the Huckabee team and even Mike and Janet) together to celebrate and to encourage one another during this election (which is what we have been doing!).
I had a separate dream once that some of the Ron Paul supporters voted for Mike (as I fell asleep on Super Tuesday during the day). When I woke up, I found out that it had actually happened in West Virginia--some of the Ron Paul supporters voted for Huckabee! Freaked me out, in a good way!
One of "our party" dreams (almost 3weeks ago) was at a big ranch like in Texas and the theme was Winter Wonderland (snow represents promise and deliverance or
salvation in the Bible--though your sins are as scarlet, I make them white as snow Is. 1). Even some of the Ron Paul supporters had come to hang out with us
and come to support Huckabee.

Last night (3-2-08), He told me again to be at peace. He impressed on me that He is doing a new things (Is. 43) and that He is going to perform miracles, signs, and wonders for His glory and Namesake, and for us His children and those precious unborn babies. And that He has heard our prayers!!

As one dear brother said (Tanwei--his blog is great, too:
http://tianwei-biblethoughts.blogspot.com/) on Mike's blog yesterday to Jason
Murray, "Maybe we can meet on the grass at the White House when Mike is inaugurated!" Wow, the grassroots team sitting on the lawn on the grass at the
White House, maybe with blankets and a picnic, like my dream... except this time, it is after the victory!! Yea! We declare the victory in Jesus' Name!

Amen! I couldn't agree more!

Praise and worship have become so vital to me. I have found praise and worship to be some of the greatest weapons in our arsenal. When we praise despite all circumstances he is launching at and around us, we are telling the enemy that his tactics aren't affecting us, because despite everything we are seeing and facing, our trust is in God to work it out.

I have found that praise/ worship is the greatest portico or gateway to receiving miracles, healing, and breakthroughs. So many people spend the majority of their time binding the enemy (which is important also), but if you only focus on what the enemy is doing, I believe you miss the greatest weapon . . . praise and worship. Praise and worship change the atmosphere. I have found that when the atmosphere of praise and worship is created, the glory of God descends, and His anointing breaks yokes of bondage, sickness and strongholds like nothing I have ever experienced. I have found that when we are basking in His glory, greater victories are won then when we do warfare without worship.

It was after an incredible experience in worship that I realized that when you are facing a desperate need, it isn’t necessary to beg and cry for God to perform what He already promised. Let go of all your plans and ideas and spend time worshipping God, knowing that while you are praising Him and cheering Him on with your praise, He is winning the battle. You don’t need to spend a lot of time begging and crying. Pray and ask God to meet your need, and spend the majority of the time praising and worshipping Him, trusting that all the while you are praising and worshipping Him, He is accomplishing what you prayed, and winning the battle.

Paul and Silas ministered unto the Lord in the midst of their difficulty and God supernaturally delivered them; and it came while they were praising, not praying! They weren’t begging and crying out to God about their plight or questioning why He wasn’t delivering them. They praised and worshipped in the midst of it, and God fought their battle for them.

Once you pray for something, using God's Word as your foundation for your prayer, immediately begin praising God for who He is and thanking Him that He is accomplishing your request. Despite all the weapons the enemy tries to hurl at you, don't be moved. Continue praising and thanking God until the complete manifestation of your prayer, whether it is an hour or a month or a year. The key is to show the enemy that no matter what he throws at you, nothing will derail you, so the sooner you decide not to quit, no matter what, the sooner he will realize your resolve and move on.

Just because some don’t see God doing something, many often start begging God all over again. He wants you to praise Him in the face of the problem, before you ever see any circumstance lining up, that He is creating the miracle. Unfortunately, many cry out to God, “Why aren’t you doing anything?” He wants us to thank Him in the midst of the storm trusting that He is solving everything.

I believe that as we enter into His presence and offer up extravagant praise and worship, that is ministering to the Lord, and it often brings results faster than whining and crying in prayer for many hours on something He has already promised in His Word.

So yes, prayinghyde, I totally agree with you . . . this is the type to rejoice for our victory!

Hi thanks for your encouraging post at Mike Huckabee's website!
I have been praying also, and nice to hear from a peaceful source!!
God bless you richly, I was tempted to be a little discouraged, but your blog helped. No matter what happens tonight does not even mean that we quit. I feel led to keep standing and shouting the victory also! Mary McKeeman

It's 9 pm on March 4 - I've been fasting and praying for 4 days - I don't know what to pray now as I just watched Gov. Huckabee drop out of the race...

All I can say about tonight is that I don't believe it's over yet. I sense God is still up to something and that is what I'm standing on. I will still continue to thanking Him that every mountain in Mike's way has been removed!!

“It’s not over yet,” kept resonating through my mind last night, along with an amazing peace that totally engulfed me. Neither of which in the natural realm should have happened after I heard Mike Huckabee’s speech last night. I called a few people and went to my computer to e-mail a friend to let her know what I was sensing; however, before I started writing, I decided to look on Mike Huckabee’s website and read some of the comments coming in, and there I read Shannon’s blog. As I was reading it, I felt like I was reading my own thoughts at the moment, because it so aligned with what I was sensing and confirmed the wonderful peace I was experiencing.

I decided to go to bed and just let the peace of God engulf me, sensing an excitement that this isn’t over yet. When I woke up this morning, that same amazing peace and the thought, “It’s not over yet” lingered through my mind, and then I called my mom, and she excitedly told me, “This morning I was asking the Lord how come Huckabee’s out?,” and before she had a chance to think any further, the Lord said, “I’m not finished yet!” There was such an amazing excitement in both of our spirits.

You may ask, “Is this a call to revolt?” Absolutely not! This is a call to listen for what God is probably trying to tell many of us. Like David (II Samuel 5), before the second time he went to battle, the Lord gave him a different set of instructions. I believe that since God has already given us three such an overwhelming peace, there may be others that have heard or sensed the same thing. What we need to determine is what God is trying to impress upon us. Maybe He’s calling a remnant, such as Gideon’s Army to pray through His plans and purposes . . . all I know is that this overwhelming peace and these confirmations of what He is saying certainly aren’t for naught; but we need to ascertain His desire, and why He’s strongly impressing upon us that, “It’s not over and I’m not finished yet!”

As I was getting dressed, the story of Mary, Martha and Lazarus reverberated back and forth in my mind, and I reminisced how Mary and Martha were upset that Jesus came too late, but as we all know it was just the right time for God to get ALL the glory . . . man could take no glory in Lazarus coming back to life. As I was thinking of this story, and what I kept hearing, I realized to many this situation probably appears dead; but, if what some of us are hearing is right, it’s not! I do know that God often allows a dream to die before it comes to full fruition. Now I don’t pretend to know what or how God plans to resurrect this dream that many of us have in our hearts, but I certainly know through all the amazing miracles and healings I have experienced in my life and the lives of those around me that nothing is impossible with Him; and I believe it’s time for each of us to take some time with the Lord and listen for what He is saying so we don’t miss our part in whatever His perfect plan is. I know that the Bible says that the sole peace of God guides us, and I know that the peace I am sensing down deep that God’s not finished yet certainly cannot be conjured up in natural way.

Colossians 3:15 (AMP)
15And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state] to which as [members of Christ's] one body you were also called [to live]. And be thankful (appreciative), [giving praise to God always].

There are several months until the convention and the general election, and none of us can predict what can happen between now and then. However, we certainly can press into God and determine what He desires to do and then get on board with Him following His instructions and not attempting to accomplish it with our natural means. This is not a natural battle, but a battle in the spirit realm, so we need to lay aside natural means of accomplishing what we believe God is desiring to do, and listen for His instructions. I know for many of us, He has put such a strong sense in us that He desires Mike Huckabee to be President . . . don’t let go of what He has promised – we just don’t know how He desires to do that. I don’t believe that God prompts all of us with almost the same thing and gives us a peace that He is accomplishing it and then not fulfill it. However, I do know that what has been promised can often appear dead and impossible to resurrect, but that we must continue trusting despite how impossible it appears!

Think of the story of Gideon (Judges 7), and how God had him bring the army number down to 300 . . . a mere remnant. Let’s be part of that remnant that hear from and respond to God’s next set of instructions. Be assured it will not be in the natural realm, but walking it out in the spiritual realm.

Here is something I wrote about awhile back that I still feel very strongly about:

I think it is IMPERATIVE that we get the mindset . . . ALL THE WAY TO THE CONVENTION IN MINNEAPOLIS!!! Yes, we want Texas, Ohio and many that remain, and that’s what we’re battling for. However, we must go all the way to the convention no matter what happens between now and September, as we do not know if something else will be revealed or exposed, or if something else could happen that we are not aware of right now. Even if for some reason it appears that John McCain reaches 1191, we can’t give up, because the New York Times or another news outlet or a lay person could reveal something else, or who knows what else that totally eliminates John McCain and then all of his delegates are up for grabs, and then it won’t even matter if he reaches 1191 or not. Or what if the NYT or anyone else is waiting to reveal something after it appears that he has reached 1191? If we truly believe that God has impressed upon us that Mike will be President, all God desires from each of us is that we trust Him 100% despite any circumstances that appear exactly the opposite, because with one fell swoop He can change the entire landscape of the election. I believe this is a totally different election than any of us have ever experienced, and I don’t think it’s even close to over.

The battle is His, and even if it looks 100% like a closed deal, when God closes a door, no man can open it, and when God opens a door, no man can shut it. As a case in point, what if God allowed it to go all the way to the convention and allowed it to appear one way to prevent any of the previous candidates from reentering the race, but then at the last minute He allowed something to be revealed or turned around? God may be creating a scenario that none of us have ever pondered . . . we just need to trust Him without question, especially since I believe many of us down deep in our hearts believe Mike will be President. If so many of us are having that sense, then I believe God has something planned to bring that through to fruition; but we can’t allow our finite minds to try to figure it out based upon previous scenarios, or doubt just because it isn’t being played out in the way we had anticipated it. Please understand this is not to wish or pray for any harm upon anyone, but we honestly don’t know what the future holds, and we just need to trust that God is in control.

What if Joseph would have given up on his dream because he was sold into slavery? Or given up because he was thrown into prison? We can’t be moved by circumstances . . . God has a plan and remember that even if the odds look impossible, He’s always working behind the scenes to bring His purposes to pass . . . and as we all know He knows exactly what needs to be done to win the battle!

Additionally, over the last several days, I have been excitedly declaring that all of the mountains in Mike Huckabee’s path to the 44th President of the United States have been removed, and then a few mornings ago I awoke early out of a deep sleep and heard the words in my mind, the mountains have crumbled, and I saw the picture in my mind of the mountains breaking up and crumbling to the ground. I believe that now we are going to begin seeing what appeared to be impasses to Mike’s nomination and subsequent election begin to crumble. However, we can’t be moved if there appears to be an impasse; we just keep thanking God that He is winning the battle behind the scenes, and that His will is coming to pass, despite how it appears.

Mark 11:23Truly I tell you, whoever says to this mountain, Be lifted up and thrown into the sea! and does not doubt at all in his heart but believes that what he says will take place, it will be done for him. (AMP)

Luke 3:5Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low; and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways shall be made smooth. (KJV)

Awhile back, I remember one of the writers on Mike’s website saying that the Lord impressed upon him to thank Him through the primaries and even the general election and that has stuck in my mind every day; and I believe there is a reason for it. I believe God wants to show us that with Him nothing is impossible, if we believe. We just need to continue to trust God that no matter what it looks like, we are going to continue praising Him and trusting that He is going to bring the victory.

I'd like to thank everyone for all the encouraging posts. It sure does make it easier to have faith after reading them.

One thing I've been reminded of recently is this. Do any of you watch the TV show "Judge Judy"? I don't watch it myself, but whenever I go to visit my parents, my father has it on a lot. Anyway, Judge Judy regularly says to people, "I'm smarter than you." Now, coming from her, that statement is arrogant. But that phrase definitely applies to God (and that's an *understatement*). He's smarter than we are. It's easy to think, "Mike should've won Texas, but he didn't, so now how is this mess going to work out?" We think we've got it all figured out about what it would take for Mike to win the Presidency. But we don't. God's infinitely smarter than we are, and we simply need to keep trusting Him to get the job done and not rely on our own pea-brains to tell us how things should be done. :) It can be extremely difficult (and sometimes nearly impossible) to trust God at times, but He really *does* know what He's doing. We just need to keep telling ourselves that, and maybe eventually we'll start to get it. ;)
